Abstract
Perusahaan Rokok “XYZ” merupakan perusahaan rokok yang
berada di Kabupaten Ponorogo, dimana produknya adalah Sigaret
Kretek Tangan (SKT). Dalam setiap tahapan produksi,
pengendalian kualitas memegang peranan penting untuk
memastikan bahwa setiap batang rokok dibuat berkualitas baik.
Walaupun telah dilakukan pengendalian kualitas, namun pada
kenyataannya masih banyak ditemukan produk cacat yang
terpaksa harus dilakukan reject, oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini
dilakukan pengendalian kualitas statistik pada proses produksi
Sigaret Kretek Tangan (SKT) pada bagian giling dan gunting.
Data yang digunakan merupakan data hasil pengamatan langsung
pada 30 pekerja yang bertugas menggiling rokok, pengamatan
dibatasi pada kualitas fisik saat rokok berupa batangan, dengan
jenis cacat yang digunakan adalah korep, ambri kusut, ambri
sobek, kurang lem pada bagian ujun, kurang lem pada bagian
tengah dan tidak nyetrip. Dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa
proses produki Sigaret Kretek Tangan di perusahaan rokok
“XYZ” Ponorogo telah terkendali secara statistik pada tahap I dan
II namun proses belum kapabel.

Cigarette company "XYZ" is a Cigarette company located in
Ponorogo, the product is Sigaret Kretek Tangan (SKT). In every
stage of production, quality control plays an important role to
ensure that every cigarette is made of good quality. Although it
has been carried out quality control, but in reality there are still
many defective products or that was forced to do reject.Therefore
in this research, statistical quality control in the production
process Sigaret Kretek Tangan (SKT) on the rollers and shears ,
The data used is data from direct observation of 30 workers in
charge of grinding a cigarette, the observation is limited to the
quality of the current physical form of bars cigarettes, with the
type of disability that is used is korep, tangled, tear, less glue on
the end, less glue on the middle and not symmetric. This study
suggests that thes production process of Sigaret Kretek Tangan in
cigarette company "XYZ" has been controlled statistically in first
and second stage, but the process is not capable.
