Abstract
Kebersihan merupakan suatu keadaan yang diharapkan disetiap
lingkungan. Lingkungan dikatakan bersih apabila terbebas dari kotoran.
Kebersihan dapat diwujudkan dengan senantiasa membersihkan dan
menjaga lingkungan tersebut. Selain harus memiliki kemampuan yang
memadai, penentuan jumlah tenaga kebersihan harus tepat sehingga
pekerjaan dapat terselesaikan dengan efisien. Suatu pekerjaan akan
dikatakan terselesaikan secara efisien apabila waktu penyelesaiannya
berlangsung paling singkat dengan hasil yang telah sesuai dengan
standar yang sudah ditentukan. PT. SMART Tbk. mempercayakan
kebersihan areanya kepada PT.ISS Indonesia. Saat ini PT. SMART Tbk.
ingin mengetahui jumlah tenaga kebersihan yang optimum untuk
membersihkan PT. SMART Tbk. wilayah A seiring akan diadakannya
pembaharuan kontrak. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode pengukuran
waktu kerja dengan Stopwatch Time Study untuk menentukan waktu
standard yang dibutuhkan tenaga kebersihan untuk menyelesaikan
komponen kerja. Perhitungan jumlah tenaga kebersihan memperoleh
hasil bahwa jumlah tenaga kebersihan yang dibutuhkan di PT. SMART
Tbk wilayah A adalah sebanyak 28 tenaga kebersihan pada shift pagi
dan 9 tenaga kebersihan pada shift siang. Saat ini terdapat 22 tenaga
kebersihan pada shift pagi dan 6 tenaga kebersihan pada shift siang.
Sehingga memerlukan penambahan 6 tenaga kebersihan pada shift pagi
dan 3 orang tenaga kebersihan pada shift siang.

Cleanliness is a circumstances that expected in every
environment. It can be realized by constantly maintain the
environment clean without any dirt. While maintain a healthy
environment is not only focused on adequate ability, but also the
determination of the number of cleaning officers. This is due, the
proper number of the cleaning officers can finish janitorial work
efficiently. Then, the efficiency of janitorial work itself can be
measured by notice the result of work that is appropriate with the
specified standards and short completion time. PT. SMART Tbk
entrust the cleanliness of their environment to PT. ISS Indonesia.
However, PT. SMART Tbk need to know the optimum number of
cleaning officers that required to clean up their environment in
region A along with the renewal of the contract. This research
uses the method of working time measurement with Stopwatch
Time Study to determine standard time that needed by cleaning
officers to complete the work component. The calculation of the
number of cleaning officers get the result that the number of
cleaning officers required at PT. SMART Tbk region A are as
many as 28 people. While there are currently 22 people cleaning
officers that require the addition 6 people cleaning officers on
morning shift.. There are currently 6 people cleaning officers on
afternoon shift and needs 9 people cleaning officers that require
the addition 3 people cleaning officers on afternoon shift.
