Abstract

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) adalah suatu
sistem kontrol yang menyempurnakan kelemahan-kelemahan
dari sistem kontrol dengan menggunakan relai. PLC hanya
dapat menerima input berupa sinyal digital, namun sinyal
analog dapat diproses oleh PLC bila telah dikonversikan ke
sinyal digital menggunakan Analogue to Digital Converter
(ADC). Sebuah PLC mempunyai empat buah komponen utama,
yaitu Central Processing Unit (CPU), programmer, input
modul dan ouput modul.
PLC pada saat ini memerlukan kemampuan yang baik
karena di harapkan di dalam proses kerja mampu
mengoptimalkan kerja dan meningatkan proses produksi, di
samping itu juga memiliki kehandalan untuk dipahami penguna
dalam mengoperasikan nya atau saat terjadi kesalahan.
Mesin bagging yang ada di PT. PETROKIMIA Gresik
merupakan mesin yang digunakan sebagai alat untuk
mengisikan pupuk kedalam sak pupuk seberat 50 Kg. Dari data
yang di dapat bahwa mesin mampu memproduksi pupuk
sebanyak 14 dalam waktu bekisar 4,2 detik. Sensor yang
digunakan load cell dan di inovasikan dengan proximity sensor
untuk meningkatkan efisiensi serta keamanan bagi pengguna.
Pada perencanaan ini menggunakan aksi berbentuk PID di
karenakan membutuhkan untuk mencapai set point dengan
waktu yang singkat dan meminimalisir error yang terjadi.
Dapat disimpulkan bagging merupakan close loop control system, sirkuit pneumatik dan sirkuit listrik telah sesuai dengan
ladder diagram terbukti alat mampu di operasikan sejalan
dengan rancangan kerja, dan pengmodifikasian terhadap
sistem berhasil dilakukan dengan menambahkan proximity
sensor.

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is a control system
that complements the weaknesses of the control system using the
relay. PLC can only receive input in the form of a digital signal,
yet analog signals can be processed by the PLC when it is
converted into a digital signal using the Analogue to Digital
Converter (ADC). A PLC has four main components, namely the
Central Processing Unit (CPU), programmer, input modules and
output modules.
PLC at this time requires a good ability as expected in the
working process is able to optimize the work and meningatkan
production process, in addition, it also has the reliability to
understand user to operate his or when an error occurs.Bagging
machine in PT. PETROKIMIA Gresik is a machine used as a tool
for loading fertilizer into sacks of 50 Kg. This thesis is to redesign
the control system for the control of automatic bagging machines
using PLC. The planning process control system is based on the
sequence that occurs in any components on the bagging machine.
Bagging machine in PT. PETROKIMIA Gresik is a
machine used as a tool for loading fertilizer into sacks of fertilizer
weighing 50 Kg. From the data in the can that the machine is
capable of producing fertilizer as many as 14 in 4.2 seconds. The
sensors used in the load cell and innovate with a proximity sensor
to improve the efficiency and safety for the user. At this planning
using PID in the form of action because of needing to reach set
point with a short time and minimize errors that occur. It can be
concluded bagging a closed loop control system, pneumatic circuits and electrical circuits in accordance with the ladder
diagram proven tool able to be operated in accordance with the
work plan, and modified the system successfully carried out by
adding a proximity sensor.
