Abstract
Peningkatan kualitas produk merupakan salah satu kunci
dalam strategi persaingan bidang industri untuk mempertahankan
kredibilitas dan keunggulan suatu perusahaan. PT Petrokimia Gresik
merupakan produsen pupuk dimana kualitas produksi pupuk
mendapatkan perhatian utama. Pada proses produksi pupuk, komposisi
merupakan hal krusial dimana apabila tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi
yang tepat dapat mengakibatkan pertumbuhan tanaman menjadi tidak
normal sehingga menurunkan hasil panen petani atau bahkan terjadi
gagal panen. Berdasarkan pertimbangan tersebut maka Tugas Akhir ini
berfokus melakukan penelitian kualitas pupuk yakni pada inspeksi
komposisi. Objek penelitian dalam Tugas Akhir ini adalah karakteristik
kualitas pupuk phonska, antara lain komposisi H2O, N, P2O5, dan K2O.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian Tugas Akhir ini adalah peta
kendali Generalized Variance dan T2 Hotteling. Pada peta kendali
Generalized Variance fase 1, nilai covarian matriks yang digunakan
yakni dari nilai covarian matriks Successive Difference. Pada analisis
selanjutnya yakni peta kendali Generalized Variance fase 2, T2
Hotelling fase 1, dan T2 Hotelling fase 2 menggunakan nilai covarian
matriks dari data Generalized Variance fase 1 yang telah terkendali
sebagai tolok ukur. Pengendalian kualitas pada peta kendali dilakukan
dengan menghilangkan data pengamatan yang out of control, hingga
didapati peta kendali telah terkendali dalam variabilitas maupun mean
proses. ========== Improving the quality of products is one of the key industries in
the field of competitive strategy to maintain credibility and excellence of
a company. PT Petrokimia Gresik is fertilizer producer where fertilizer
production quality getting major attention. In the fertilizer production
process, the composition is crucial if it is not according to the exact
specifications can result in abnormal plant growth resulting in lower
crop farmer or even crop failure. Based on these considerations, the
final project is conducting research focuses on the quality of the
fertilizer composition inspection. The object of research in this final
project is Phonska fertilizer quality characteristics, such as composition
H2O, N, P2O5 and K2O. The method used in this final study is
Generalized Variance control chart and T2 Hotteling control chart. In
the control chart of Generalized Variance phase 1, the covariance
matrix value useSuccessive Difference. In the subsequent analysis of the
control chart Generalized Variance phase 2, T2 Hotteling phase 1, and
T2 Hotteling phase 2 use covariance matrix value of Generalized
Variance phase 1 data which has been restrained as benchmarks.
Quality control in the control map is done by removing the
observational data that is out of control, until the control chart has been
found in a controlled process variability and mean.
