Abstract

Analisis waktu – frekuensi pada musik Gong Timor memainkan peran penting dalam aplikasi pengolahan sinyal musik seperti pitch tracking dan transkripsi musik atau proses menotasikan sinyal musik. Keragaman karakter suara Gong dipengaruhi oleh banyak hal antara lain cara pembuatan peralatan yang kurang sempurna, cara pemukulan peralatan yang berdasar kira-kira, permainan musik Gong yang dimainkan secara bersamaan pada satu set Gong dan tempo yang berubah-ubah sesuai perasaan pemain. Sinyal musik Gong memiliki kriteria analisis suara yang lebih kompleks dibandingkan analisis peralatan musik barat. Pada penelitian ini, analisis waktu – frekuensi musik Gong dilakukan dengan melakukan perbandingan metode short time fourier transform (STFT), overlap short time fourier transform (OSTFT) dan continuous wavelet transform (CWT). Analisis waktu – frekuensi musik Gong pada metode STFT dan OSTFT dilakukan pada berbagai jendela dan ukuran hop. Pada metode CWT dilakukan pada morlet wavelet. Evaluasi kinerja menunjukan proses deteksi perubahan dengan metode CWT lebih baik karen menghasilkan kesalahan 5.88 %. Penelitian ini terbatas dilakukan terhadap 1 instrument Gong.

Time-Frequency analysis on the music of Gong Timor has an important roles on application of signal music processing like pitch tracking and music transcription or signal music notation. Multiple character of Gong sound because of different ways to forge Gong itsself , the ways to play the Gong by used senses of the player, using one set of Gong in the same time and the changes of tempo Gong music along with the feeling of the player. Signal music Gong has analysis sound criteria more complicated than analysis west musical instrument. In this research, Time-Frequency analysis music Gong by compared short time fourier transform (STFT), overlap short time fourier transform (OSTFT) dan continuous wavelet transform (CWT) methods. On STFT and OSTFT methods Time-Frequency analysis music Gong used with different window and hopsize. On CWT methods used morlet wavelet. Result of this research shows that the CWT method has better result than STFT method. In this research only using 1 instrument of Gong.
