Abstract

Transformator daya dapat mengalami fenomena feroresonansi karena memiliki komponen induktansi nonlinear pada inti besinya. Fenomena feroresonansi dapat dipicu oleh beberapa kondisi. Pada studi ini diberikan pemicu dengan gangguan switching 1 fasa gagal terbuka serempak dan gangguan switching 2 fasa gagal terbuka serempak. Transformator daya yang digunakan adalah transformator jenis step down 150 kV – 20 kV dengan konfigurasi belitan jenis Wye – Wye, Wye – Delta, Delta – Wye, Delta – Delta. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk melihat overvoltage dan karakteristik feroresonansi yang muncul pada setiap jenis konfigurasi belitan terhadap gangguan operasi switching yang diberikan. Pemodelan rangkaian feroresonansi yang digunakan disimulasikan dengan bantuan software ATPDraw. Total waktu simulasi pada studi ini adalah 0,7 detik. Hasil dari studi ini adalah transformator dengan konfigurasi belitan jenis Delta – Wye paling rentan terhadap overvoltage akibat feroresonansi, sedangkan konfigurasi belitan jenis Wye – Delta paling tahan terhadap overvoltage akibat feroresonansi. Karakteristik feroresonansi yang muncul didominasi oleh mode Quasi-periodic pada belitan primer maupun pada sisi sekunder.

Ferroresonance phenomenon can occur in power transformer because it has a nonlinear inductance component in its iron core. This phenomenon could be triggered by several conditions. In this study, the trigger was given by an interference of the switching operation that has 2 conditions which are 1 phase fail to open simultaneously and 2 phase fails to open simultaneously. The power transformer used is step down type transformer 150 kV - 20 kV with Wye – Wye, Wye – Delta, Delta – Wye, and Delta – Delta winding configurations. The purpose of this study is to observe at overvoltage and ferroresonance characteristics that appear in each type of winding configuration against the interference of the switching operation given. The ferroresonance circuit modeling used is simulated with ATPDraw. The total simulation time in this study is 0,7 seconds. The results of this study are that transformers with Delta - Wye winding configurations are most susceptible to overvoltage due to ferroresonance, while Wye - Delta winding configuration is most resistant to overvoltage due to ferroresonance. The ferroresonance characteristic that appears is dominated by Quasi-periodic mode in the primary and secondary winding.
