Abstract
Generator adalah peralatan yang sangat vital dalam sistem tenaga listrik. Dalam menjaga generator dan kontinuitas sistem maka diperlukan pengamanan untuk menghindari kondisi darurat. Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) Pacitan merencanakan pemasangan Generator Circuit Breaker (GCB) untuk mengatasi potensi blackout jika terjadi kondisi emergency level 4. Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV) merupakan salah satu parameter untuk mengetahui batas kemampuan pemutusan arus pada GCB yang dinyatakan dalam Rate of Rise of Recovery Voltage (RRRV). Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai TRV dan RRRV yang terjadi pada GCB ketika memutus arus hubung singkat tiga fasa. Pada tugas akhir ini, pemodelan TRV disimulasikan menggunakan perangkat lunak ATPDraw. Nilai parameter dan variabel didapatkan dari datasheet peralatan yang ada di PLTU Pacitan. Hasil simulasi didapatkan nilai TRV dan RRRV yang terjadi ketika GCB memutus arus hubung singkat masih di bawah standar IEEE C37.013.

Generator is a very vital equipment in electric power system. To maintain the generator and system continuity, a protection to prevent emergency condition is needed. Pacitan Power Plant Station planned a Generator Circuit Breaker (GCB) installation to counteract potential blackout that might happen in case a level 4 emergency condition occured. Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV) is one of the parameters in determining the capability limit of current interruption on GCB and is expressed in Rate of Rise of Recovery Voltage (RRRV). The objective of this study is to figure out TRV and RRRV value that happened on GCB when interrupting a three phase current. In this thesis TRV modeling is simulated using ATPDraw software. The parameter and variable value is acquired from the equipment datasheet from Pacitan Power Plant Station. The simulation results obtained TRV and RRRV values that occur when GCB interrupt the fault current under the IEEE C37.013 standard.
