Abstract

Pelabuhan merupakan salah satu fasilitas strategis yang menunjang pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Salah satu pelabuhan dengan aktivitas yang padat adalah Pelabuhan Cigading. Tingginya aktivitas tersebut menuntut sarana dan prasarana pelabuhan mampu menjamin kelancaran operasional. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah pendangkalan di kolam labuh Dermaga 4 akibat sedimentasi yang berasal dari Sungai Citayur, sehingga menghambat kegiatan bongkar muat. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, direncanakan penambahan struktur jetty di muara Sungai Citayur agar pergerakan sedimen menjauh dari kolam labuh Dermaga 4. Pada kondisi eksisting, volume sedimentasi di kolam labuh Dermaga 4 mencapai 36.617,82 m³ dengan laju sedimentasi sebesar 0,23 m/tahun. Pembangunan jetty alternatif 1 menurunkan volume sedimentasi menjadi 28.763,09 m³ dan laju sedimentasi menjadi 0,18 m/tahun, sehingga mampu mengurangi volume sedimen sebesar 7.882 m³ dan laju sedimentasi sebesar 0,05 m/tahun. Jetty alternatif 2 menghasilkan volume sedimentasi sebesar 26.244,08 m³ dan laju sedimentasi sebesar 0,16 m/tahun, dengan pengurangan volume sedimen sebesar 10.374 m³ dan laju sedimentasi sebesar 0,065 m/tahun. Sementara itu, jetty alternatif 3 menghasilkan volume sedimentasi sebesar 31.075,82 m³ dan laju sedimentasi sebesar 0,19 m/tahun, atau mengurangi volume sedimen sebesar 5.542 m³ dan laju sedimentasi sebesar 0,034 m/tahun. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, jetty alternatif 2 merupakan pilihan yang paling efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan pendangkalan di kolam labuh Dermaga 4 Pelabuhan Cigading.

Ports are strategic facilities that support economic growth in Indonesia. One of the busiest ports is Cigading Port, where intensive operational activities require adequate infrastructure to ensure efficient operations. One of the major issues at the port is the silting of the anchorage basin at Berth 4 due to sedimentation transported from the Citayur River, which disrupts cargo loading and unloading activities. To mitigate this problem, the construction of a jetty at the Citayur River estuary was proposed to divert sediment transport away from the Berth 4 anchorage basin. Under existing conditions, the sediment volume in the anchorage basin reached 36,617.82 m³ with a sedimentation rate of 0.23 m/year. The first jetty alternative reduced the sediment volume to 28,763.09 m³ and the sedimentation rate to 0.18 m/year, representing reductions of 7,882 m³ and 0.05 m/year, respectively. The second jetty alternative further reduced the sediment volume to 26,244.08 m³ and the sedimentation rate to 0.16 m/year, corresponding to reductions of 10,374 m³ and 0.065 m/year. Meanwhile, the third jetty alternative resulted in a sediment volume of 31,075.82 m³ and a sedimentation rate of 0.19 m/year, reducing the sediment volume by 5,542 m³ and the sedimentation rate by 0.034 m/year. Based on these results, the second jetty alternative was identified as the most effective solution for mitigating the silting problem in the Berth 4 anchorage basin at Cigading Port.
