Abstract

Dalam sistem pengaturan proses di industri terdapat beberapa variabel yang dapat diatur dalam suatu proses, salah satunya ialah udara bertekanan. Tekanan udara diatur hingga mencapai suatu titik kerja tertentu, lalu dipertahankan pada titik kerja tersebut. Dalam pengendalian variabel tersebut, permasalahan yang sering dijumpai adalah terjadinya pembebanan yang bervariasi yang mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan karakteristik sistem. Kontroler PID yang menjadi standar dalam suatu sistem pengaturan memiliki respon lambat dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Sehingga untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut digunakan kontroler Fuzzy Gain Scheduling PI yang memiliki performansi yang lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan kontroler PI. Dari hasil implementasi pada plant Pressure Process Rig 38-714 didapat data hasil pengujian untuk unjuk kerja dari kontroler Fuzzy Gain Scheduling PI dengan settling time (5%) terdapat nilai eror sebesar 0,125% pada beban nominal, pada beban maksimal nilai eror sebesar 0,425% dan pada saat beban minimal nilai eror sebesar 0,35%. Waktu recovery pada saat terjadi perubahan beban berkisar 200 detik dengan overshoot maksimal kurang dari 50%.

In industrial process control systems there are several variables that can be regulated in a process, one of which is air pressure. Air pressure is set to reach a certain work point, then maintained at that work point. In controlling this variable, the problem that is often encountered is the occurrence of varying load, which results can changes the characteristics of system. PID controllers that become standard in a regulatory system have a slow response in solving this problem. So, to overcome this problem, Fuzzy Gain Scheduling PI controller is used which has better performance compared to PI controller. From the implementation of plant Pressure Process Rig 38-714 obtained data test results for the performance of the Fuzzy Gain Scheduling PI controller with settling time (5%) there is an error value of 0.125% at nominal load, at the maximum load error value of 0.425% and when the load is minimal the error value is 0.35%. Recovery time when load changes occur in 200 seconds with maximum overshoot of less than 50%.
