Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas Uap (PLTGU) Grati merupakan salah satu bagian dari program pemerintah pada proyek pembangkitan listrik 35.000 MW. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kapasitas produksi listriknya, PLTGU Grati menambah sebuah blok baru, yaitu Blok III Ekstensi dengan kapasitas 450 MW. Pada sebuah pembangkit baru, perlu dipertimbangkan kondisi-kondisi gangguan yang mungkin terjadi pada sistem kelistrikan. Gangguan tersebut dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada peralatan listrik yang terpasang dan membuat kehandalan sistem menurun. Sehingga perlu dilakukan studi koordinasi proteksi untuk menanggulangi hal-hal tersebut. Pemodelan sistem kelistrikan diperlukan dalam melakukan studi koordinasi proteksi. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini, pemodelan sistem dilakukan menggunakan software ETAP 12.6. Setelah itu menganalisa arus hubung singkat yang terjadi pada sistem. Kemudian melakukan setting over current relay, ground fault relay, differential relay yang sesuai untuk diterapkan di PLTGU Grati Blok III Ekstensi. Untuk setting over current relay dan ground fault relay, grading time yang digunakan adalah 0,2 detik, sehingga menghasilkan kordinasi proteksi yang benar sesuai standar IEEE 242. Untuk setting differential relay, data setting dari perusahaan sudah bagus, dengan nilai Ipickup 0,34 pu ; Idiff 0,34 pu ; Irestraint 1,01 pu ; Slope1 39 % ; Slope2 98 % ; Breakpoint1 2 pu ; dan Breakpoint2 6 pu.

PLTGU Grati is one part of a government program on a 35,000 MW electricity generation project. In order to increase its electricity production capacity, Grati PLTGU added a new block, namely Block III Extension with a capacity of 450 MW. In a new power plant, it is necessary to consider the interference conditions that may occur in the electrical system. Such interference can cause damage to installed electrical equipment and make system reliability decrease. So it is necessary to do a protection coordination study to overcome these things. Electrical system modeling is needed in conducting protection coordination studies. In this Final Project, system modeling is done using ETAP 12.6 software. After that analyze the short circuit current that occurs in the system. Then set up an over current relay, ground fault relay, differential relay that is suitable to be implemented in the Grati Block III Extension PLTGU. For the setting of over current relay and ground fault relay, the grading time used is 0.2 seconds, thus resulting in correct protection coordination according to the IEEE 242. Standard For differential relay settings, the company data settings are good, with the value of Ipickup 0.34 pu ; Idiff 0.34 pu; Irestraint 1.01 pu; Slope1 39%; Slope2 98%; Breakpoint1 2 pu; and Breakpoint2 6 pu.
