Abstract
Proteksi rele arus lebih pada sistem tenaga listrik memiliki peran yang sangat penting untuk mengamankan peralatan listrik. Sistem proteksi ini memiliki fungsi untuk mendeteksi dan melokalisir gangguan hubung singkat sehingga dapat mencegah peralatan listrik mengalami kerusakan. Sistem proteksi arus lebih perlu di koordinasikan agar sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik. Pembangkit listrik tenaga uap adipala merupakan salah satu pembangkit yang menyuplai sebagian aliran listrik untuk jawa tengah dan sekitarnya. Pembangkit ini memiliki kapasitas pembangkitan 1x660MW. Oleh karena itu diperlukan studi terhadap pengaman sistem. Tugas akhir ini akan membahas tentang studi koordinasi proteksi rele arus lebih pada PT Indonesia power UJP Adipala. Dari hasil analisis koordinasi proteksi kurva rele pengaman eksisting dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat setting pick up rele arus lebih fasa dan rele arus lebih ketanah tidak sesuai standart 1,05 - 1,4 FLA (BS 142-1983 Standart) yaitu 1,6 FLA dan pemilihan time delay yang tidak sesuai standart Grading time 0,2 s – 0,4 s (IEEE 242), sehingga memungkinkan rele utama dan rele backup bekerja secara bersamaan. Pada rele differential terdapat kesalahan yang menyababkan rele bekerja saat terjadi gangguan eksternal 2 phase pada bus grid PLN 500 kV, maka di rekomendasikan dilakukan resetting ulang.Setting rele differensial adalah I_set=1,6Ie, I_(instan )=5,5 In, slope 0,75.

Overcurrent protection on electric power system has a very important to protect electrical equipment. Protection system has the function of detecting and localising short-circuited interference so as to prevent electrical equipments from experiencing damage. Overcurrent protection system needs to be coordinated for the system to work properly. The Adipala steam power Plant is one of the plants that supply some electricity to the Central Java and surrounding areas. The generator has a 1x660MW generation capacity. It is therefore necessary to study the system security. This final task will discuss about coordinating study of Overcurrent rele protection at PT Indonesia Power UJP Adipala. From the results of coordination analysis of existing safety rele curve protection can be noted that there are setting pick up rele more phase current and the current rele is not suitable for the standard 1.05-1.4 FLA (BS 142-1983 Standart) namely 1.6 FLA and time delay selection The standard inappropriate Grading time 0.2 s – 0.4 s (IEEE 242), thus allowing the main rele and backup rele to work simultaneously. In the differential rele there is an error that will cause the rele to work when the external 2 phase disturbance occurs on the PLN 500 kV bus grid, then it is recommended to resetting reset. The differential rele Setting is I_set = 1, 6 Ie, I _(Instant) = 5,5 In, slope 0,75.
