Abstract

Tapping and washing machine autoloader plant adalah salah satu proses permesinan yang ada di salah satu industri yang berjalan secara otomatis menggunakan sebuah sistem otomasi. Proses yang dilakukan pada plant ini yaitu adalah melakukan pembuatan ulir serta proses pembersihan benda kerja setelah dilakukan proses pembuatan ulir. Benda kerja yang diproses adalah housing dari sebuah differential gear kendaraan roda empat. Sistem otomasi pada plant ini dikendalikan oleh sebuah perangkat kontroler yaitu Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) secara terprogram menggunakan pemrograman ladder diagram. Dengan banyaknya alur proses yang terjadi, maka perlu digunakan sebuah metode untuk merancang sebuah ladder diagram. Metode yang digunakan pada tugas akhir ini adalah metode GRAFCET. Dengan menggunakan metode ini, ladder diagram yang dihasilkan sebanyak 203 rung yang terbagi menjadi 3 bagian : transition (67 rung), step (65 rung), action (71 rung) dan hasil ladder diagram teratur serta tersusun sesuai dengan deskripsi atau diagram alur proses sehingga dapat memudahkan operator untuk melakukan troubleshooting atau merubah urutan alur proses ketika sistem sudah berjalan.

Tapping and washing machine Autoloader plant is one of the machining processes in industry that runs automatically by an automation system. The process that is happened at this plant is making screws and cleaning process after the screwing process is finished. The processed workpiece is the housing of a differential gear four-wheeled vehicle. The automation system in this plant is controlled by a controller device, namely Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that is programmed using ladder diagram programming. With the many process sequence that occur, it is necessary to use a method to design a ladder diagram. The method used in this final project is the GRAFCET method. Using this method, the resulting ladder diagram is 203 rungs divided into 3 parts: transition (67 rungs), step (65 rungs), action (71 rungs) and the results of the ladder diagram are organized and arranged according to the description or the process flows diagram so that can make it easier for operators to troubleshoot or change the process flows of the system when the system is running.
