Abstract

Transformator memiliki peranan penting yang ditemukan dan dipergunakan secara luas dalam sistem tenaga listrik. Inti besi dari transformator merupakan komponen induktansi nonlinier. Ketika suatu transformator dihubungkan dengan sumber tegangan arus bolak balik (AC) untuk pertama kalinya, maka fenomena inrush current dapat terjadi. Nilai inrush current besarnya mencapai 6-12 kali arus nominal. Fenomena Inrush current dapat menyebabkan kerusakkan pada tranasformator. Beberapa model transformator dengan prinsip dualitas telah tersedia pada ATPDraw seperti model hybrid (XFMR). Penggunaan prinsip ini memberikan gambaran inti secara signifikan, yang dapat membantu untuk studi energi transformator. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efek dari perbedaan inti transformator terhadap kapasitas transformator dengan menggunakan fenomena inrush current. Pada tugas akhir ini, transformator tiga fasa dengan tipe inti yang berbeda disimulasikan pada perangkat lunak ATPDraw. Hasil perbandingan inrush current yang didapatkan bahwa jenis material inti M5 merupakan material terburuk bila dibandingkan dengan jenis material inti MOH dan ZDKH pada kapasitas transformator 6 MVA, 7MVA, 15MVA, 20MVA dan 30 MVA.

The transformer has an important role found and used in electric power systems. The core of the transformer is a nonlinear inductance component. When a transformer discusses with an AC source for the first time, the phenomenon of a surge can occur. The value of nominal inrush current reaches 6-12 times the nominal current. Phenomenon inrush current can cause damage to the transformer. Some transformer models with duality principles are available on ATPDraw such as hybrid models (XFMR). The use of this principle provides a significant picture, which can help for study energy transformers. The purpose of this study is to study the effect of the difference in transformer core on transformer capacity using a fast inrush phenomenon. In this final project, three phase transformers with different core types in ATPDraw software. The result of the inrush current comparison show that the core material type M5 is the worst material when compared to the core material type MOH and ZDKH at 6 MVA, 7MVA, 15MVA, 20MVA, and 30 MVA transformer capacities.
