Abstract

Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan analisis sistem pengaman terdiri dari overcurrent relay (OCR), ground fault relay (GFR), serta differential relay. Disisi lain untuk menunjangan keselamatan pekerja analisis arc flash menggunakan metode NFPA 70E yang digunakan untuk menentukan personal protective equipment (PPE) dari bahaya busur api (arc-flash) dengan berdasarkan IEEE std. 1584-2002 dan overcurrent protective device. Persamaan dalam IEEE 1584 disesuaikan dengan NFPA 70E agar menemukan personal protective equipment (PPE) yang pantas dipakai oleh para pekerja. teknik analisis ini berpotensi dapat diterapkan untuk semua jenis perangkat pelindung arus lebih pada setiap sistem kelistrikan yang berada dalam jangkauan persamaan IEEE 1584. Studi aktual mengenai analisa bahaya busur api (arc-flash) dilakukan pada PT. Linde Cikarang. Pada hasil akhir dari analisis busur api dengan menggunakan metode NFPA 70E sebagai penentuan kategori PPE standart dari perhitungan IEEE 1584-2002 menunjukan hasil pada setiap tipikal 28,94 cal/cm2 di level 4, 12,23 cal/cm2 di level 3, 20,97 cal/cm2 di level 3, dan 33,94 cal/cm2 di level 4.

In this final task, the analysis of the safety system consisted of an overcurrent relay (OCR), ground fault relay (GFR), and differential relay. On the other hand to show the safety of Arc Flash analysis workers using NFPA 70E method used to determine personal protective equipment (PPE) from the danger of arc-flash with IEEE std. 1584-2002 and Overcurrent and the protective device. The equation in IEEE 1584 is adapted to NFPA 70E in order to find personal protective equipment (PPE) that workers deserve to wear. This analysis technique can potentially be applied to all kinds of more current protective devices on any electrical system that is within range of the IEEE 1584 equation. The actual study on ARC-flash analysis was conducted at PT. Linde Cikarang. In the final result of the Flame arc analysis using the NFPA 70E method as determination of the Standart PPE category of the calculation of IEEE 1584-2002 shows results on each typical 28.94 cal/cm2 at level 4, 12.23 cal/cm2 at level 3, 20.97 cal/cm2 at level 3, and 33.94 cal/cm2 at level 4.
