Abstract

Penyedian air bersih harus dilakukan dengan tepat, karena air sangat penting bagi semua hal kelangsungan kehidupan manusia. Target pencapaian air bersih di Indonesia masih di bawah target yang ditentukan pada tahun 2018. Tingkat penggunaan air masyarakat Surabaya terbesar di Indonesia pada tahun 2017. Produksi air terbesar berada pada IPAM di Karang Pilang III dengan kapasitas sebesar 2400 liter/detik tahun 2016. Proses penjernihan air yang dilakukan yaitu pada aerator, bak prasedimentasi, clearator dan filtrasi. Proses pada unit clearator sangat penting karena output yang dihasilkan sudah berupa air bersih hasil olahan dengan mesin utama pada tube settler. Dalam memenuhi pencapaian tersebut, maka dibutuhkan mesin yang baik yaitu hasil maksimal dan frekuensi kerusakan minimal dengan pemeliharaan yang baik. Evaluasi untuk peningkatan performance mesin dengan penentuan waktu optimum pemeliharaan dengan biaya minimal, maka dilakukan penelitian menggunakan Analisis Reliabilitas dengan metode Power Law Process. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa penentuan waktu optimum perbaikan yang dilakukan mesin tube settler pada unit clearator adalah saat mesin telah beroperasi 746 jam dengan estimasi biaya minimum sebesar Rp 67.537,85.

The supplies of clean water must be done appropriately, because water is very important for all aspects of human living. Clean water’s achievement target in Indonesia is still below the target which is set in 2018. In Indonesia, the highest level of water used is located in Surabaya. The largest water production is in IPAM Karang Pilang III by 2400 liters / second in 2016. The water purification process that is carried out into aerator, pre-sedimentation tank, clearator and filtration. The process on the clearator unit is very important because the output is already in the form of clean water processed by main engine in the tube settler. In order to accomplished these achievements,so a good machine is needed that produce maximum results and minimal frequency of defect with good maintenance. Evaluation for improving engine performance by determining the optimum maintenance time with minimal costs, then conducted research using Reliability Analysis with the Power Law Process method. The results of research get the optimum repair time performed by tube settler machines on the clearator unit when the engine was operating 746 hours with an minimum cost estimation of 67,537.85 rupias.
