Abstract
Pada bererapa kota di Indonesia fungsi terminal bus bagi kenyamanan pemindahan dari suatu moda ke moda atau kendaraan lain belum efektif. Hal ini disebabkan karena masih banyaknya aktivitas menaikkan dan menurunkan penumpang serta penumpang yang menunggu dan menumpang bus di luar terminal. Hal ini juga terjadi di terminal bus Oebobo Kota Kupang. Dalam melakukan aktivitasnya bus AKDP yang seharusnya berhenti di dalam terminal, ternyata sebagian besar melakukannya di luar terminal (pertigaan Oesapa). Kondisi ini masih terjadi terus menerus sampai saat ini. Studi ini akan mengetahui karaktristik penumpang bus di dalam terminal Oebobo dan di luar terminal (Pertigaan Oesapa) serta probabilitas pemilihan lokasi menumpang bus berbasis karakteristik sosial ekonomi dan aksesbilitas. Penelitian ini diawali dengan pengumpulan data primer yang didapatkan dari hasil pengisian kuesioner oleh responden dengan menggunakan teknik revealed preference. Data primer kemudian diolah menggunakan analisis regresi logistik untuk mendapatkan nilai probabilitas. Dari hasil analisa, terlihat bahwa penumpang bus lebih banyak memilih lokasi menumpang di di luar terminal (Pertigaan Oesapa) yakni sebesar 77,65%. Probalitas penumpang yang memilih lokasi menumpang dipengaruhi oleh variabel tarif menuju lokasi menumpang bus dan waktu tunggu bus. Untuk tarif <Rp.5000 nilai probabilitas sebesar 76,25% dan tarif >Rp.20000 nilai probabilitas sebesar 92,39% memilih di Pertigaan Oesapa. Semakin besar tarif menuju lokasi menumpang maka berpotensi lebih tinggi bagi penumpang bus untuk memilih lokasi menumpang di Pertigaan Oesapa. Sedangkan berdasarkan variabel waktu tunggu bus semakin cepat waktu menunggu bus maka berpotensi lebih tinggi bagi penumpang bus untuk memilih lokasi menumpang di Pertigaan Oesapa dengan nilai probabilitas untuk waktu tunggu <30menit 97,09% memilih lokasi menumpang di Pertigaan Oesapa dan untuk waktu tunggu >120 menit nilai probabilitas sebesar 91,49% memilih lokasi menumpang di Terminal Oebobo.

In some cities in Indonesia the function of bus terminals for the convenience of movement from one mode to another mode or vehicle has not been effective. This case happening due to a lot of activities to carrying and drop off passengers at random places. This condition also happened at Oebobo bus terminal in Kupang City. In doing its activities the AKDP bus should stop inside the terminal, in fact most of AKDP buses stop outside the terminal (Oesapa T junction). This condition is still happening continuously until now. This study will find out the characteristics of bus passengers inside the Oebobo terminal and outside the terminal (Oesapa T-junction) as well as the probability of choosing a bus ride location based on socio-economic characteristics and accessibility. This study begins with the collection of primary data obtained from the questionnaires which filled by respondents using revealed preference technique. Primary data is then processed using logistic regression analysis to obtain probability values.
From the analysis, it can be seen that bus passengers prefer the location to ride outside the terminal (Oesapa T-junction) which is 77.65%. The probability of passengers who choose a ride location is influenced by the variable fare to the bus ride location and bus waiting time. For the rate of <Rp.5000 the probability value is 76.25% and the tariff > Rp.20000 the probability value of 92.39% chooses at the Oesapa T-junction. The greater the tariff towards the hitching location, the higher the potential for bus passengers to choose the location to stay at the Oesapa T-junction. Whereas based on the bus waiting time variable the faster waiting time for the bus, the higher the potential for bus passengers to choose the location to stay at the Oesapa T-junction with a probability value for waiting time <30 minutes 97.09% choosing the location to stay at Oesapa T-junction and for waiting time >120 minutes the probability value of 91.49% chooses the location to take a ride at Oebobo Terminal.
