Abstract

Rhizosfer tanaman tebu merupakan daerah yang ideal bagi bermacam-macam mikroorganisme tanah, salah satunya adalah bakteri. Keanekaragaman bakteri dapat dikaji dengan pendekatan taksonomi numeric fenetik. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mendapatkan keanekaragaman bakteri dan genus dari kawasan rhizosfer tanaman tebu dengan pendekatan taksonomi numerik fenetik.
Isolat yang digunakan adalah isolat yang diisolasi dari rhizosfer tanaman tebu. Selanjutnya dikarakterisasi bentuk koloni, bentuk se, uji fisiologi dan reaksi biokimianya. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan program MVSP dan pengelompokan berdasarkan UPGMA. Dendogram yang diperoleh dianalisis nilai similaritasnya. Selain itu, diidentifikasi genus dengan metode generic assignment menggunakan Bergey’s Mannual of Determinative Bacteriology.
Dendogram yang dianalisis menghasilkan 3 cluster dan genus yang teridentifikasi adalah Azotobacter (P2A, P2B, P8 dan P9), Bacillus (P1), dan Pseudomonas (N1 dan N6).

Rhizosphere of sugarcane is an ideal area for various soil microorganisms, one of which is bacteria. The diversity of bacteria can be assessed using a numerical phenetic taxonomy approach. The purpose of the study was to obtain bacterial diversity and genus from the rhizosphere of sugarcane plants with a phenetic numerical taxonomic approach.
The isolates used were isolates isolated from the rhizosphere of sugarcane. Then the colony shape was characterized, the shape of the colony, the test of physiology and its biochemical reaction. The collected data was analyzed using the MVSP program and grouping based on UPGMA. The dendogram obtained was analyzed for its similarity value. In addition, genus was identified using the generic assignment method using Bergey’s Mannual of Determinative Bacteriology.
The dendogram analyzed produced 3 clusters and identified genera were Azotobacter (P2A, P2B, P8 and P9), Bacillus (P1), and Pseudomonas (N1 and N6).
