Abstract
Pendidikan yang baik merupakan investasi masa depan bagi suatu bangsa untuk memiliki kehidupan yang lebih sejahtera. Permasalahan yang selalu ada hingga saat ini yaitu kualitas pendidikan nasional yang masih rendah dan belum ditemukan strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkannya. Salah satu upaya yang telah dilakukan pemerintah yaitu adanya sistem pendidikan untuk mecapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Sistem pendidikan memiliki kriteria minimal yang disebut Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP). Standar yang digunakan oleh sebagian besar sekolah berada di bawah standar yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah, sehingga kualitas lulusan yang dihasilkan belum memenuhi standar yang diharapkan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi mutu lulusan SMP Negeri di Jawa Timur berdasarkan indikator SNP menggunakan regresi multivariat untuk mengetahui indikator apa saja yang mempengaruhi Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa, nilai capaian indikator SNP tahun 2018 di SMP Negeri Jawa Timur cukup baik karena sebagian besar indikator telah terdapat sekolah yang berada pada kategori menuju SNP level 4 dan sudah SNP. Seluruh indikator SNP di SMP Negeri di Jawa Timur mempengaruhi mutu lulusan dalam dimensi sikap, keterampilan, maupun pengetahuan. Model yang terbentuk dari hasil analisis regresi multivariat cukup baik karena diperoleh nilai kebaikan model sebesar 99,95%.
======================================================================Good education is a future investment for a nation that has a more prosperous life. The problem that always exists today is the quality of national education that is still low and effective strategies have not been found to improve it. One effort that has been made by the government is the education system to achieve national education goals. The education system has a minimum criteria called the National Education Standards (SNP). The standards used by most schools are below the standards set by the government, so the quality produced does not meet the expected standards. In this study, an analysis of the factors that improve the quality of state junior secondary schools in East Java was carried out based on SNP indicators using multivariate regression to find out what indicators affected the Standard of Competency of Graduates (SKL). The results of the analysis show that the value of the achievement of the 2018 SNP indicator in East Java Public Middle School is quite good because most indicators have schools that are in line with the category towards level 4 SNPs and SNPs. All SNP indicators in State Middle Schools in East Java influence competency in dimensions, skills, and knowledge. The model compiled from the results of multivariate regression analysis is quite good because the good value of the model is 99,95%.
