Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan proses kenaikan pendapatan per kapita daerah dalam jangka panjang. Pada tahun 2017, pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Jawa Timur meningkat sebesar 5,45 persen. Pertumbuhan tersebut didorong oleh semua lapangan usaha, salah satunya lapangan informasi komunikasi sebesar 6,92 persen. Namun pada lapangan usaha informasi komunikasi, hanya menyumbang 5577 milyar rupiah dari tahun sebelumnya, tidak sebanding dengan tingginya persentase tersebut. Hal itu juga didukung dengan adanya beberapa wilayah yang menunjukkan penurunan penggunaan indikator TIK. Oleh sebab itu, dalam penelitian ini ingin mengetahui apakah penggunaan indikator TIK dari periode tahun 2015 hingga 2017 pada masing-masing Kabupaten/Kota berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Jawa Timur menggunakan analisis regresi data panel. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari SUSENAS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model terbaik yang menggambarkan pengaruh penggunaan TIK terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Jawa Timur yakni menggunakan pendekatan FEM individu dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 99,9% dengan variabel pembentuk model tersebut yakni ln PDRB harga konstan sebagai variabel respon dan sebagai variabel prediktor merupakan hasil dari analisis komponen utama.

Economic growth is the process of increasing regional per capita income in the long run. In 2017, economic growth in East Java Province increased by 5.45 percent. The growth was driven by all business fields, one of which was the communication information field of 6.92 percent. However, in the information communication business sector, it only contributed 5577 billion rupiah from the previous year, not proportional to the high percentage. This was also supported by the existence of several regions which showed a decrease in the use of ICT indicators. Therefore, in this study wanted to find out whether the use of ICT indicators from the period of 2015 to 2017 in each Regency / City had an effect on economic growth in East Java Province using panel data regression analysis. The data obtained in this study uses secondary data from SUSENAS. The results of the analysis show that the best model that illustrates the influence of the use of ICT on economic growth in East Java Province is using the individual FEM approach with a determination coefficient of 99.9% with the model forming variable namely ln constant price GDP as a response variable and as a predictor variable from principal component analysis.
