Abstract

PDAM Surya Sembada Kota Surabaya merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam pengolahan dan pendistribusian air bersih di Kota Surabaya. Sebelum pendistribusian dilakukan, PDAM terlebih dahulu melakukan pengolahan air baku menjadi air bersih. Agar proses pengolahan air berjalan secara lancar maka alat yang digunakan dalam proses pengolahan haruslah bekerja dengan baik. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan pada filter air, alat ini berfungsi untuk menyaring kotoran-kotoran dari air yang tidak ikut mengendap pada proses prasedimentasi maupun pengendapan kedua. Apabila filter air mengalami gangguan, maka sistem pengolahan dalam menghasilkan air bersih kurang maksimal dan menyebabkan kualitas air yang dihasilkan tidak sesuai serta akan menyebabkan kerugian karena kapasitas air yang dihasilkan akan berkurang. Sehingga hal ini perlu adanya penentuan waktu optimum perawatan dengan biaya yang minimum karena selama ini PDAM Surya Sembada Kota Surabaya tidak menggunakan pendekatan ilmu statistik untuk maintenance khususnya dalam penentuan waktu optimum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Geometric Process karena kerusakan dari filter air memiliki trend. Hasil analisis menghasilkan bahwa waktu Optimum perawatan dari filter air adalah saat kerusakan ke-9 dengan biaya optimum Rp5212000

PDAM is a company engaged in the processing and distribution of water in Surabaya. PDAM does process raw water into clean water before the water is distributed to customers. So that the water treatment process is produced smoothly, then the tools used in the treatment process must work well. This research will be researching about water filters, This media servers to filter out impurities from water that do not precipitate the pra-sedimentation process. When the water filter is damaged, the processing system to produce clean water is not optimal and the quality of the water produced to be incompatible and will cause losses because the capacity of the water produced will decrease. With the result that, this problem is necessary to determine the optimum treatment with minimum cost, Because so far PDAM has not used a statistical approach to maintenance, especially in determine the optimum time maintenance. This research will use Geometric Process Method because the damage of the water filter has a trend. The result of this research showed that the optimum time to maintenance for water filter with minimum cost is after 9th damaged with estimated cost of Rp5212000
