Abstract

Dari perhitungan analisa ekonomi didapat internal rate of return (IRR) sebesar 15.64%, pay out time (POT) sebesar 5.16 tahun dan break even point (BEP) sebesar 34%.
=================================================================================================================================
In the palm oil industry, in addition to producing crude palm oil as the main product, it also produces side products in the form of empty palm oil bunches which so far have not been utilized optimally. Empty oil palm bunches are a residue from the process of harvesting oil palm fresh fruit bunches so as to obtain the byproduct of a large number of fibrous waste products. Therefore, with its potential, the establishment of an Energy Plant from the Processing of Waste Oil Palm Empty Bunches that is integrated with the Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) factories is one solution. Through the cogeneration system, this plant will produce steam and electricity from solid biomass which will later be channeled to the main factory. In addition, palm oil mills have the opportunity to sell electricity and steam to the National Electricity Company (PLN) or the private sector. Broadly speaking, electricity generation through IGCC is divided into 5 stages of the process, namely storage, feedstock preparation, drying, syngas formation, and energy generation. For syngas forming, this factory uses circulating fluidized bed gasifier. To establish this factory, a total investment capital of Rp. 865,357,989,078 is needed with an estimated annual sales of Rp. 628,778,304,000. From the economic analysis calculation, the internal rate of return (IRR) is 15.64%, the pay out time (POT) is 5.16 years and the break even point (BEP) is 34%. In terms of technical and economic aspects, this factory is feasible to proceed to the planning stage.
