Abstract

Perusahaan amatan pada riset ini adalah sebuah perusahaan manufaktur mobil dari Jepang yang melakukan instalasi bagian produk dan distribusi produk. Semua proses instalasi dilakukan secara manual. Perusahaan ini diketahui selalu mencapai target produksi, bahkan saat jam kerja lembur. Namun, masalah muncul setelah pengamatan tingkat absensi pegawai pabrik di perusahaan ini setelah satu bulan dengan jam kerja lembur, yang mengindikasikan bahwa rata-rata pekerja yang absen lebih dari 10%. Selain itu, data pasien Unit Kesehatan selama jam kerja lembur menunjukkan lebih dari 20% dari jumlah pekerja setiap line yang pergi ke Unit Kesehatan dikarekan faktor penyakit seperti sakit kepala, kram, dan pegal. Maka dari itu, evaluasi terhadap sistem jam kerja lembur di perusahaan ini dibutuhkan. Dengan demikian, riset ini dibuat untuk memperoleh maksimum jam kerja lembut, untuk shift pagi dan shift malam. Metode-metode yang digunakan dalam riset ini terdiri dari Stopwatch Time Study (STS), Fatigue Index Assessment dengan menggunakan RR446 Fatigue Index Calculator, dan Assessment of Repetitive Task (ART). Semua hasil akhir dari ketiga metode tersebut menentukan maksimum jam kerja lembur di shift pagi yaitu pukul 17:30 dan di shift malam yaitu pukul 05:00. Postur kerja setiap MP juga dievaluasi berdasarkan exposure level.

The observed company is a car manufacturing company from Japan that conducts product parts installation and product distribution. All the installation processes in this company are still manually executed. This company is known for the always achieving the production target, even in overtime working hours. However, problem arises when the absence rate of the Man Powers of the company after a month with overtime working hours is observed, that indicates the average rate is higher than 10%. Moreover, the data of Health Unit patients during overtime shows that more than 20% of the workers in each line go to the Health Unit due to illness factors such as headache, cramps, and sore. Therefore, an evaluation towards the overtime system in this company is required. Then, this research is made to obtain the maximum overtime working hours, both in day and night shift. The used methods in this research consist of Stopwatch Time Study (STS), Fatigue Index Assessment by using RR446 Fatigue Index Calculator, and Assessment of Repetitive Task (ART). The results lead to the determination of maximum overtime working hours in day shift which is 17:30 and 05:00 for night shift. The working postures of all MPs are also evaluated based on their exposure level.
