Abstract

Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang pengaruh konfigurasi mooring terhadap tegangan yang terjadi pada pipa dan mooring pada saat instalasi pipa bawah laut menggunakan pipelay barge dan fixed stinger. Perilaku hidrodinamika pipelay barge didapatkan dari pemodelan software MOSES 7.10, untuk digunakan dalam pemodelan instalasi pipa dan mooring menggunakan Orcaflex 9.2a. Perilaku gerakan dan tegangan ditinjau akibat 5 arah pembebanan lingkungan yang berbeda (0o, 45o, 90o, 135o, dan 180o). Pada kasus ini terdapat 4 konfigurasi catenary spread mooring yang berbeda dengan pengaturan dan tanpa pengaturan mooring pretension, yakni 4 catenary spread mooring, 8 catenary spread mooring, 6 (4 depan dan 2 belakang) catenary spread mooring, dan 6 (2 depan dan 4 belakang) catenary spread mooring. Semua konfigurasi menunjukkan tension mooring terbesar terjadi pada arah pembebanan 45o dan 90o, sedangkan tegangan pipa terbesar diakibatkan oleh arah 90o dan 0o. Menggunakan pengaturan mooring pretension dapat membuat tegangan pipa dan mooring menjadi lebih aman. Nilai operabilitas yang ditinjau didapatkan pada masing – masing konfigurasi tanpa pengaturan mooring pretension yakni 98,51% pada 4 tali, 100% pada 8 tali, 100% pada 6 (4 depan dan 2 belakang) tali, dan 0% pada 6 (2 depan dan 4 belakang) tali. Sedangkan nilai operabilitas yang didapatkan pada masing – masing konfigurasi yang menggunakan pengaturan mooring pretension yakni 100% pada 4 tali, 8 tali, 6 (4 depan dan 2 belakang) tali, dan 6 (2 depan dan 4 belakang) tali. Dari seluruh konfigurasi, konfigurasi 4 tali merupakan konfigurasi yang direkomendasikan dengan mempertimbangkan aspek tegangan yang terjadi, operabilitas, jumlah tali, cost dan waktu.

This final project discusses the arrangement of mooring and stress that occurs on pipe and mooring when installing subsea pipeline using pipelay barge and fixed stinger. The hydrodynamic pipelay barge behavior was obtained from MOSES 7.10 software, it will be used in pipe installation and mooring modeling using Orcaflex 9.2a. Movement and stress behavior were observed due to 5 different environmental load directions (0o, 45o, 90o, 135o, and 180o). In this case there are 4 different catenary spread mooring configurations with or without mooring pretension settings, namely 4 catenary spread mooring, 8 catenary spread mooring, 6 (4 front and 2 rear) catenary spread mooring, and 6 (2 front and 4 rear) catenary spread mooring. All configurations show that the largest mooring tension occurs at the 45o and 90o load direction, while the largest pipe stress is caused by 90o and 0o directions. Using a mooring pretension setting can make pipe and mooring stress safer. The operability values were obtained in each configuration that without using mooring pretension setting, those are 98.51% at 4 lines, 100% at 8 lines, 100% at 6 (4 front and 2 rear) lines, and 0% at 6 (2 front and 4 rear) lines. Whereas the operability value that obtained in each configurations that using mooring pretension is 100% at 4 lines, 8 lines, 6 (4 front and 2 rear) lines, and 6 (2 front and 4 rear) lines. From all configurations, the configuration of 4 lines is the recommended configuration by considering the stress aspects that occur, operability, number of lines, cost and time.
