Abstract

Pengaruh penambahan bakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa terhadap biodekolorisasi metilen biru oleh jamur Daedalea dickinsii telah diteliti. Bakteri P. aeruginosa ditambahkan ke dalam kultur jamur D. dickinsii dengan variasi volume yaitu 2, 4, 6, 8, dan 10 mL (1 mL  9,23 x 108 CFU). Biodekolorisasi dianalisa dengan menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis untuk mengetahui data kuantitatif. Persentase biodekolorisasi tertinggi sebesar 62,36% diperoleh dengan adanya penambahan 10 mL bakteri P. aeruginosa dalam kultur jamur D. dickinsii. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa P. aeruginosa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan biodekolorisasi MB oleh D. dickinsii.

Addition effect of bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa on biodecolorization of Methylen Blue (MB) by brown-rot fungus Daedalea dickinsii had been investigated. Bacterium P. aeruginosa was added into D. dickinsii culture with variation volume at 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 mL (1 mL = 9.23 x 108 CFU). Biodecolorization was analyzed by using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer to know quantitative data. The highest MB decolorization was obtained by additon of 10 mL bacterium P. aeruginosa into D. dickinsii culture of 62.36%. These results indicated that P. aeruginosa could enhance biodecolorization of MB by D. dickinsii.
