Abstract
Parameter akustik suatu ruang berpengaruh terhadap informasi yang diterima oleh pendengar. Terdapat beberapa parameter akustik yang perlu dipenuhi agar informasi yang disampaikan dalam suatu ruang dapat dipahami dengan jelas oleh pendengar. Berdasarkan ISO 3382-1, parameter akustik yang dibutuhkan untuk dianalisis yaitu background noise, distribusi SPL, waktu dengung (RT), Clarity (C₅₀, C₈₀), Definition (D₅₀), dan Centre Time (Ts). Auditorium Menara Sains ITS merupakan salah satu ruang multi-fungsi yang disediakan ITS untuk memfasilitasi kegiatan civitas akademik maupun mahasiswa. Ruang ini memiliki bentuk persegi dengan volume sekitar 3.387 m³. Penelitian dilakukan pada auditorium tersebut dengan menggunakan metode Impuls Respon. Pengukuran dilakukan saat auditorium unoccupied tanpa kursi dan saat unoccupied dengan kursi. Hasil pengukuran saat unoccupeid tanpa kursi diperoleh bahwa background noise sebesar 27-31.6 dB, SPL sebesar 64.5-76.5 dBA, RT sebesar 3.3-4 s, C₅₀ sebesar -3 s/d -25 dB, C₈₀ sebesar -5 s/d 1 dB, D₅₀ sebesar 8-40 %, dan Ts sebesar 0.2-0.5 s pada frekuensi 1000 Hz. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa auditorium belum memenuhi untuk ruang multi-fungsi. Sehingga diperlukan peningkatan kondisi akustik dengan penambahan kursi, orang, dan loudspeaker. Secara perhitungan, penambahan kursi dan orang kondisi penuh memiliki nilai waktu dengung sebesar 0.81s pada 1000 Hz. Hasil simulasi penambahan didapatkan SPL sebesar 78.32-94.2 dBA, RT sebesar 0.95s, rata-rata C₅₀ sebesar 1.06 dB, C₈₀ sebesar 4.01 dB, yang menunjukkan auditorium lebih mendekati untuk ruang multi-fungsi daripada sebelumnya.

The acoustic parameters of room affect the information received by listeners. There are several acoustic parameters that need to be fulfilled so the information delivered in the room can be clearly understood by the listener. Based on ISO 3382-1, the acoustic parameters needed to be analyzed are background noise, SPL distribution, Reverberation Time (RT), Clarity (C₅₀, C₈₀), Definition (D₅₀), and Centre Time (Ts). The Auditorium of Menara Sains ITS is one of the multipurpose rooms provided by ITS to facilitate the activity of the academic and student communities. This room has rectangular shape with the volume is around 3.387 m³. The research was conducted at this auditorium using the impulse response method. Measurement are made when the auditorium is unoccupied without seats and when unoccupied with filled by seats. The measurement results when unoccupied without seats are obtained that background noise has a range of 27-31.6 dB, SPL has a range of 64.5-76.5 dBA, RT has a range of 3.3-4 s, C₅₀ has a range of -3 until -25 dB, C₈₀ has a range of -5 until 1 dB, D₅₀ has a range of 8-40 %, dan Ts has a range of 0.2-0.5 s at frequency of 1000 Hz. It shows that the auditorium by the value of the acoustic parameters have not appropriate with the reference value for multipurpose room. So, it is necessary to improved acoustic conditions with addition of seats, people, and loudspeakers. By using calculations, the addition of seats and people have a reverberation time value of 0.81s at frequency of 1000 Hz. The additional simulation results obtained SPL has a range of 78.32-94.2 dBA, RT at 0.95s, the average of C₅₀ was 1.06 dB, C₈₀ was 4.01 dB, which showed the auditorium was closer to multipurpose room than before.
