Abstract
Pemeliharaan (maintenance) merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan secara berulang pada peralatan atau mesin untuk menjaga kondisi yang sama pada keadaan awalnya. Kegiatan pemeliharaan (maintenance) yang dilakukan Perusahaan Kereta Api (Perusahaan KA) terbagi dalam tiga jenis kegiatan, yaitu daily check, periodic maintenance, dan corrective maintenance. Meskipun telah dilakukan kegiatan pemeliharaan, NPM (Nilai Performa Mesin)/ availabilitas mesin Spot Welding 099, 103, 106, dan 109 pada Perusahaan KA tidak memenuhi nilai yang ditargetkan yaitu sebesar 95%. NPM tersebut mempengaruhi nilai OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) pada keempat mesin yang mengakibatkan adanya gap antara nilai OEE eksisting dan target OEE Global (85%). Akibatnya, mesin mengalami breakdown dan performa mesin tidak optimal. Ketidaktercapaian OEE mengindikasikan terdapat permasalahan dalam aktivitas pemeliharaan yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki aktivitas pemeliharaan yang terdapat pada Perusahaan KA dengan menggunakan lean maintenance. Lean maintenance merupakan metode yang berfokus pada eliminasi waste pada aktivitas pemeliharaan dari sumber daya level terendah dengan mencapai keandalan yang diinginkan. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan waste pada aktivitas pemeliharaan perusahaan yaitu poor maintenance, centralized maintenance, poor inventory management, waiting for maintenace resources dan ineffetive data management. Pada masing- masing waste dilakukan pencarian akar permasalahan menggunakan Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) dan dilakukan pemilihan rekomendasi perbaikan. Berdasarkan analisis akar permasalahan, rekomendasi perbaikan yang dipilih adalah untuk menerapkan training, mengganti KPI, dan Autonomous Maintenance. Dengan menerapkan rekomendasi perbaikan, waste poor maintenance, waiting for maintenance resources, dan centralized maintenance dapat direduksi. ==============================================================================================================================
Maintenance is an activity carried out repeatedly on equipment or machinery to maintain the same conditions in its initial state. Maintenance activities carried out by the Perusahaan KA (Railway Company) are divided into three types of activities, namely daily check, periodic maintenance, and corrective maintenance. Although maintenance activities have been carried out, the MPV (Machine Performance Value) / availability rate of Spot Welding 099, 103, 106, and 109 engines in the Perusahaan KA did not meet the targeted value of 95%. The MPV affects the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) value on all four machines which results in a gap between the existing OEE value and the Global OEE target (85%). As a result, the engine has a breakdown and engine performance is not optimal. The gap of OEE indicates that there are problems in the maintenance activities. This study aims to improve the maintenance activities found in railway companies by using lean maintenance. Lean maintenance is a method that focuses on waste elimination in maintenance activities from the lowest level of resources by achieving the desired reliability. From the results of the study, waste was obtained in the company's maintenance activities, namely poor maintenance, centralized maintenance, poor inventory management, waiting for maintenance resources and effective data management. At each waste a root cause search is performed using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and a selection of improvement recommendations is made. Based on the root cause analysis, the recommendations for improvement chosen are to implement training, replace KPIs, and Autonomous Maintenance. By implementing recommendations for improvement, poor maintenance, waiting for maintenance resources, and centralized maintenance can be reduced.
