Abstract

Mixed Matrix Membrane (MMM) PSf/KZK telah berhasil disintesis melalui metode inversi fasa. Perlakuan pemanasan dilakukan untuk meningkatkan peforma pemisahan gas. Karakteristik MMM PSf/KZK dipelajari dari hasil karakterisasi menggunakan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), dan Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). Performa pemisahan gas MMM dipelajari melalui uji permeasi dengan variasi tekanan untuk gas tunggal O2 dan N2. Perlakuan pemanasan terhadap MMM PSf/KZK dapat memperbaiki struktur, mengurangi defect, menurunkan kekasaran, serta meningkatkan performa pemisahan gas pada membran. Performa pemisahan gas secara optimum terjadi pada MMM PSf/KZKP. Permeabilitas gas O2 pada MMM PSf/KZKP mencapai 284,30 GPU dan selektivitas O2/N2 mencapai 1,97 saat tekanan umpan 3 bar.

Mixed Matrix Membrane (MMM) PSf/KZK has been successfully synthesized through phase inversion method. The heating treatment is carried out to improve gas separation performance. The characteristics of MMM PSf/KZK were studied from the results of characterization using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). The performance of MMM gas separation was studied through permeation tests with variations in pressure for single gas O2 and N2. The heating treatment of MMM PSf/KZK could repair the structure, remove defects, reduce roughness, and improve the performance of gas separation on the membrane. The optimum gas separation performance occurs in MMM PSf/KZKP. The permeability of O2 gas in MMM PSf / KZKP reaches 284.30 GPU and O2/N2 selectivity reaches 1.97 when the feed pressure is 3 bar.
