Abstract

Reduksi Model diperlukan dalam permasalahan nyata untuk penyerdehanaan sistem dan kontrolnya. Pada Tugas Akhir ini, dilakukan desain kontrol berorde rendah dan masih dapat diterapkan pada sistem awal. Desain kontrol orde rendah ini dilakukan dengan cara: membentuk kontrol pada sistem awal, mereduksi kontrol yang dihasilkan, dan selanjutnya menerapkan kontrol tereduksi tersebut pada sistem awalnya. Metode reduksi yang digunakan dalam Tugas Akhir ini adalah Balanced Truncation, sedangkan metode desain kontrol adalah metode H-Infinity. Berdasarkan hasil Tugas Akhir ini dapat diperoleh desain kontrol orde rendah dengan melakukan reduksi. Reduksi dapat dilakukan pada kontrol H-Infinity selama pada saat kontrol tereduksi diterapkan pada sistem awal, infinity-norm masih berada di sekitar nilai gammanya.

Model reduction is needed in real problems to simplify the system and its controls. In this Final Project, a control design that has a low order is carried out and can still be applied to the initial system. This low-order control design is done by: making control on the initial system, reducing the control, and then applying reduced controls to the initial system. The reduction method used in this Final Project is Balanced Truncation, while the control design method is the H-Infinity method. Based on the results of this Final Project, a low order control design can be obtained by reducing it. Reductions can be made on the H-Infinity control if the reduced control is applied to the initial system has infinity-norm that are still around the gamma value.
