Abstract

=================================================================================================================================
Ocean tide is rising and falling of the water level to periodic time (harmonic), their movement can be modeled by sinusoidal equation. Ocean tides observation being modeled using several methods, they are tide gauges (hidrodinamic model), altimetry (empirical model), and combinations (asimilasi model). Overall, ocean tide model has been modeled using several types of models, but it hard to determined which model will be best fit for all regions. The complexity of Indonesia oceans is an important thing to be learn for better globsl ocean tide model moreover for accurate ocean modelling. In this research, calculation of Root Mean Square value of GOT data against reference using statistical method. The result show incompability (D%)for GOT to FES2014 is 1,322%, to TPXO9 is 1,060%, and EOT11a is 0,961%. Indonesia ocean with open seas types are more suitable for the empirical model of GOT, whereas for shallow area there is strong compatibility with assimilation model of GOT.
