Abstract

Dalam kapal perang, stabilitas yang baik adalah salah satu hal yang sangat penting dalam pengoperasian kapal perang di lautan. Sistem kemudi kapal sangat berpengaruh pada stabilitas kapal tersebut. Kemudi menggunakan rudder sangat berpengaruh terhadap stabilitas rolling kapal. Gerakan roll yang terlalu besar dapat menyebabkan kerugian dalam segi materi seperti penggunaan bahan bakar yang berlebih jika amplitudo rolling terlalu besar dan juga membahayakan awak kapal. Rudder roll adalah konsep rudder yang berfungsi untuk mengendalikan heading hingga gerakan roll berkurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem stabilisasi rudder roll pada kapal perang kelas SIGMA (Ship Integrated Geometrical Modularity Approach) dengan metode Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control. Perancangan sistem ini dilakukan secara simulasi menggunakan Matlab. Dalam penelitian ini gangguan gelombang diabaikan. Hasil simulasi dengan kendali FSMC mampu memperbaiki performansi stabilitas pada kapal perang Kelas SIGMA.

In warships, good stability is one of the most important things in the operation of warships in the ocean. The ship's steering system is very influential on the stability of the ship. Steering using a rudder greatly affects the rolling stability of the ship. Roll movements that are too large can cause losses in terms of material such as excessive use of fuel if the rolling amplitude is too large and also endanger the crew. Rudder roll is a rudder concept that serves to control heading until the roll movement is reduced. This study aims to design a rudder roll stabilization system on SIGMA (Ship Integrated Geometrical Modularity Approach) warships with the Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control method. The design of this system is done in simulation using Matlab. In this study wave interference was ignored. The simulation results with FSMC controls are able to improve stability performance on SIGMA Class warships.
