Abstract

Pengaruh perbedaan jumlah blade turbin telah dilakukan pada pembangkit listrik tenaga vortex (PLTV) berbasis basin kerucut. PLTV merupakan salah satu pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro dengan aliran air yang sangat kecil. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai RPM maksimal, torsi pengereman maksimal, besar tegangan, arus, dan daya listrik yang dihasilkan pada tiap variasi blade turbin. Kedalaman air, jumlah blade, dan besar resistor adalah variasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini berupa nilai RPM, torsi, tegangan tanpa beban resistor, nilai tegangan dan arus, serta daya listrik dengan beban resistor. Nilai terbesar dari RPM, torsi , tegangan tanpa beban, tegangan, arus, dan daya dengan beban yang dimiliki oleh 6 blade turbin berturut-turut adalah 119,351 ± 1,191 (RPM); 0,762 ± 0,010 (Nm); 3,985 ± 0,00015 (V ); 3,597± 0,462 (V); 0,00232 ± 0,00023 (A) ; dan 0,0005 ±0,0001(watt).

The effect of the difference in the number of turbine blades has been carried out at the cone basin-based vortex power plant (PLTV). PLTV is one of the micro hydro power plants that used little water flow. This study was conducted to determine the maximum RPM value, maximum braking torque, voltage, current, and electrical power produced in each variation of the turbine blades. Water depth, number of blades, and size of resistors are variations used in the study. The results obtained from this study are RPM values, torque, voltage without resistor load, voltage and current values, and electrical power with resistor load. The maximal value of RPM, torque, voltage without load, voltage, current, and power with the load that owned by 6 turbine blades respectively are 119,351 ± 1,191 RPM; 0.762 ± 0.010 Nm; 3,985 ± 0,00015 V; 3,597 ± 0,462 V; 0,00232 ± 0,00023A; and 0.0005 ± 0.0001 watt.
