Abstract

ITS memiliki sistem terintegrasi bernama Integra yang dapat diakses oleh mahasiswa, dosen, dan tenaga kependidikan. Integra menyediakan berbagai informasi bagi penggunanya. Namun saat ini, belum ada sistem informasi yang dapat diakses oleh orang tua/wali mahasiswa ITS, sehingga orang tua/wali merasa kesulitan dalam mengakses informasi seputar perkuliahan anak walinya. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penulis membuat aplikasi myITS untuk Orang Tua/Wali. Aplikasi ini merupakan aplikasi berbasis perangkat bergerak iOS yang dibuat untuk mempermudah orang tua atau wali mahasiswa ITS untuk mengakses informasi seputar perkuliahan anak walinya di kampus. iOS dipilih sebagai pemenuhan kebutuhan pada iOS karena saat ini aplikasi yang ada hanya di Android. Dengan aplikasi ini, orang tua/wali mahasiswa ITS dapat mengakses berbagai macam informasi terkait anak walinya, antara lain kemajuan studi, status keaktifan, kehadiran kuliah, aktivitas mahasiswa, prestasi, riwayat pembayaran kuliah, informasi beasiswa, peluang yang tersedia, kalender akademik, profil mahasiswa, berita yang ada di ITS, dan profil wali. Perangkat lunak ini menerapkan paradigma pemrograman reaktif untuk memudahkan pengambilan data dari API. Selain itu, arsitektur Model-View-ViewModel(MVVM) dan Clean Architecture juga akan diterapkan agar mempermudah pemeliharaan kode.

ITS has an integrated system called Integra that can be accessed by students, lecturers, and educational staff. Integra provides informations for users. However, there is no information system in ITS that can be accessed by students’ parents/guardian, so that parents/guardians of ITS students find it difficult to access informations about their children in ITS. To resolve this problem, the author builds an application named myITS for parents/guardians. This application is an iOS-based application which is created to facilitate parents/guardians of ITS students in accessing informations about their children’s study in campus. iOS was chosen as the platform on this application for parents/guardians needs because on nowdays the application for parents/guardians just on Android smartphone. Using this application, parents/guardians of ITS students can access informations related to their children, such as study progress, their children’s status, course attendance, student activities, achiements, payment history, scholarship information, opportunities, academic calendar, student’s profile, news in ITS, and guardian’s profile. This application applies reactive programming paradigm for retrieving data from API. Moreover, Model-View-ViewModel(MVVM) architecture and Clean Architecture will be implemented to make the maintenance easier.
