Abstract

Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi yang begitu pesat telah membuka peluang pertumbuhan startup di Indonesia. Female Daily Network (FDN) merupakan startup dalam bidang beauty review platform sebagai media untuk menjawab masalah kecantikan yang dihadapi oleh wanita. Pada tahun 2017, Female Daily meluncurkan aplikasi berbasis mobile apps yaitu FD app. Kesediaan para member yang menggunakan FD app untuk melakukan aktivitas knowledge sharing tentang masalah kecantikan tentunya dipengaruhi oleh suatu faktor. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi knowledge sharing pada beauty review platform berbasis mobile apps. Model mengacu pada kerangka Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) Delapan variabel yang digunakan menghasilkan delapan hipotesis penelitian. Metode analisis menggunakan pendekatan sociotechnical system karena dalam pengunaan FD app sebagai teknologi melibatkan aspek sosial (manusia). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner online kepada member FD. Jumlah responden yang terlibat adalah 204 responden. Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang dilakukan dengan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) didapatkan bahwa ikatan sosial yang terjalin tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kepercayaan member FD. Selain itu, didapatkan hasil bahwa mayoritas hipotesis yang berhubungan dengan faktor sosial yang berperan penting untuk mendorong terjadinya aktivitas knowledge sharing adalah tingkat kebermanfaatan serta niat dalam menggunakan teknologi. Oleh karena itu, upaya optimasi FD app sebagai beauty review platform perlu mempertimbangkan kedua faktor tersebut.

The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology has opened up opportunities for startup growth in Indonesia. Female Daily Network (FDN) is a startup in the field of beauty review platform as a medium to answer the beauty problems faced by women. In 2017, Female Daily launched a mobile app named FD app. The willingness of the members to use the FD app to conduct knowledge sharing activities on beauty issues is certainly influenced by a factor. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors that influence knowledge sharing on the beauty review platform. The model used refers to the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. The eight variables used yielded eight research hypotheses. The method of analysis uses a sociotechnical system approach because in the use of the FD app as technology involves the social (human) aspect. Data collection is done by distributing online questionnaires to FD members. The number of respondents involved was 204 respondents. Based on data processing carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method, it was found that social tie did not have a positive influence on the level of trust of FD members. In addition, the results show that the majority of hypotheses related to social factors that play an important role in encouraging knowledge sharing activities are the level of usefulness and intention in using technology. Therefore, efforts to optimize the FD app as a beauty review platform need to consider these two factors.
