Abstract

PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang otomtif khususnya manufaktur mobil. Perkembangan trend permintaan konsumen yang semakin dinamis menuntut perusahaan berfikir keras untuk mempertahankan dan memperluas pangsa pasar. Pada tahun 2017 PT TMMIN bertanggung jawab untuk mejalankan proses bisnis service part export untuk semua produk produksi Toyota Indonesia yang sebelumnya dijalankan oleh PT TAM. Ketidakpastian demand order dan lead time pengiriman dari supplier mengakibatkan pengendalian persediaan service part export menjadi sulit, ditambah dengan perbedaan konsep persediaan antara PT TAM dan PT TMMIN menambah kesulitan tersebut. Setelah bisnis service part dijalankan oleh PT TMMIN ditemukan adanya delay pengiriman dari supplier ke PT TMMIN yang mengakibatkan terjadi backorder pada beberapa jenis part. Sehingga PT TMMIN merencanakan pengadaan stock service part export namun masih terjadi 97,4% backorder pada bulan Februari 2019. Ketercapaian service level PT TMMIN saat ini berkisar 40-60% bahkan lebih rendah. Jika PT TMMIN tidak dapat mengatasi permasalahan ini segera maka bisnis service part export akan dijalankan oleh PT TAM. Sehingga dilakukan pengendalian persediaan dengan menggunakan simulasi monte carlo dengan metode continous review (s,S) pada past model slow moving part. Parameter output yang akan dibandingkan adalah service level, jumlah backorder dan total cost. Hasil metode continuous review (s,S) mampu meningkatkan rata-rata service level 67%, mengurangi jumlah backorder 4143 unit namun total cost meningkat hingga Rp 1,340,671,530.40 untuk total keseluruhan part amatan. Selanjutnya akan dilakukan perancangan 3 skenario untuk memilih tingkat persediaan yang optimal. Material yang paling sensitif terhadap perubahan demand adalah 81551BZ320, sedangkan part yang paling sensitif terhadap perubahan lead time adalah lead time adalah 85211BZ310 yang mengalami penurunan service level 14% dari kondisi semula pada perubahan lead time +200%.

PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia is a company engaged in the field of automation, especially automobile manufacturing. The development of increasingly dynamic consumer demand trends requires companies to think hard to maintain and expand market share. In 2017 PT TMMIN was responsible for carrying out the service part export business process for all Toyota Indonesia products that had previously been run by PT TAM. The uncertainty of demand orders and the delivery lead time of suppliers has resulted in difficult control of service part export inventory, coupled with the difference in the concept of inventory between PT TAM and PT TMMIN adding to this difficulty. After the service part business was run by PT TMMIN, it was found that there were shipping delays from suppliers to PT TMMIN which resulted in the backorder in many types of parts. So that PT TMMIN plans to procure stock service part exports but still occurs 97.4% backorder in February 2019. PT TMMIN's current service level achievements range from 40-60% or even lower. If PT TMMIN cannot solve this problem immediately, the service part export business will be carried out by PT TAM. So that inventory control is carried out using the Monte Carlo simulation with a continuous review method (s, S) on a slow-moving part past model. The output parameters that will be compared are service level, number of the backorder and total cost. The results of the continuous review (s, S) method were able to increase the service level average by 67%, reduce the number of backorder to 4143 units but the total cost increased to Rp 1,340,671,530.40 for the total observation section. Next will be the design of 3 scenarios to choose the optimal inventory level. The material that is most sensitive to the change in demand is 81551BZ320, while the part that is most sensitive to changes in lead time is the lead time is 85211BZ310 which has a service level decrease of 14% from the original condition at a change in lead time + 200%.
