Abstract

Tepung terigu merupakan bagian dari aspek sandang pangan yang beberapa tahun terakhir memiliki peranan penting dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat. Persaingan diantara produsen tepung terigu terutama dalam segi kualitas produk salah satunya dalam segi pengemasan agar diterima oleh pasar masyarakat memerlukan persaingan yang sangat ketat dan kompetitif. PT. ISM Tbk. Divisi Bogasari Surabaya merupakan perusahaan pertama dan terbesar di Indonesia yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan gandum, khususnya pengolahan menjadi tepung terigu. Tingkat kebocoran kemasan yang diizinkan paling banyak 0,08%, akan tetapi pada tahun 2018 tingkat kebocoran kemasan meningkat menjadi 0,083% dari jumlah total proses pengemasan pada kemasan karung 25kg. pengambilan data dilakukan sebanyak dua kali atau dua fase, dimana pada fase I menghasilkan nilai level sigma sebesar 4,67 , sedangkan pada fase II diperoleh nilai level sigma sebesar 4,82 . Peningkatan level sigma antara kedua fase tersebut tidak signifikan. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan untuk perusahaan salah satunya yaitu melakukan pengecekan mesin Carousel setiap jam kerja dan memberikan pelatihan khusus terhadap operator Carousel.

Wheat flour is part of the aspect of food and clothing, which in the last few years has an important role in fulfilling community needs. Competition among wheat flour producers, especially in terms of product quality, one of them in terms of packaging to be accepted by the community market requires very tight and competitive competition. PT. ISM Tbk. Divion Bogasari Surabaya is the first and largest company in Indonesia which is engaged in the processing of wheat, especially processing into wheat flour. The allowable leakage rate is at most 0.08%, but by 2018 the packaging leakage rate has increased to 0.083% of the total packaging process on 25kg sacks. Data collection is done twice or two phases, where in phase I produces a sigma level value of 4.67 , while in phase II the sigma level value is 4.82 . Increasing the sigma level between the two phases is not significant. One of the proposed improvements given to the company is to check the Carousel machine every working hour and provide special training for Carousel operators.
