Abstract
Banjir merupakan hal yang sering terjadi di sekitar daerah aliran sungai Rawaan, Kecamatan Tempursari, Kabupaten Lumajang, Jawa Timur. Sungai Rawaan merupakan sungai yang secara periodik menyebabkan banjir. Seringkali pada saat terjadi gelombang pasang air laut, Sungai Rawaan tidak mampu menahan debit, terjadinya pendangkalan alur sungai akibat sedimentasi juga mempengaruhi terjadinya banjir. Perbaikan penampang yang meliputi pelebaran sungai dan pengerukan tidak cukup efektif karena terdapat pemukiman penduduk di daerah pinggiran sungai yang dapat menghambat pembangunan. Maka dari itu diperlukan solusi lain agar masalah banjir akibat intrusi air laut ini dapat teratasi. Pembangunan bendung penahan intrusi pada hulu sungai pintasan adalah solusi paling efektif untuk mengatasi masalah banjir ini.
Studi perencanaan bendung ini dimulai dari perhitungan analisa hidrologi, tinggi muka air akibat intrusi air laut, hidraulika serta stabilitas konstruksinya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, data-data mengenai pasang surut air laut, curah hujan, topografi serta geologi daerah studi sangat diperlukan.
Analisa dari tugas akhir ini adalah merencanakan bangunan bendung yang sesuai secara teknis sebagai upaya penanggulangan banjir di daerah aliran sungai Rawaan. Sebelum merencanakan bendung dilakukan terlebih dahulu analisa hodrologi sehingga diketahui debit banjir untuk periode ulang 100 tahun adalah 750,034 m³/dt dan elevasi tertinggi muka air laut adalah +3,00 mdpl. Bendung direncanakan dengan spesifikasi mercu bulat setinggi 3 m, kolam peredam energi tipe vlughter, lebar efektif bendung 132,664 m, serta dilengkapi dinding penahan di bagian hulu dan hilir pangkal bendung.

Flooding is regularly happens around the Rawaan River, Tempursari District, Lumajang Regency, East Java. The Rawaan River is a river that periodically causes flooding. Often during a tidal wave of sea water, the Rawaan River is unable to withstand discharge, the occurrence of siltation of river flows due to sedimentation also affects the occurrence of flooding. Improvement of cross section which includes widening the river and dredging is not effective enough because there are settlements in the riverbank area which can hamper development. Therefore, another solution is needed so that the problem of flooding due to sea water intrusion can be resolved. The construction of weirs on the upstream of the river eastuary is the most effective solution to overcome this flood problem.
This fixed weir design starts from the calculation of hydrological analysis, water level due to sea water intrusion, hydraulics and construction stability. Based on this, data on tides, rainfall, topography and geology of the study area are needed.
The analysis of this final project is to plan a weir building that is technically appropriate as a flood prevention effort in the Rawaan river basin. Before planning the weir, hodrology analysis is carried out so that it is known that the flood discharge for the 100-year return period is 750,034 m³/s and the highest sea level elevation is +3.00 masl. The weir is planned with the specifications of the round lighthouse as high as 3 m, the energy dampening pool type vlughter, the effective width of the 132,664 m, and equipped with retaining walls in the upstream and downstream of the weir.
