Abstract

Tanaman sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia, terutama tanaman yang menjadi bahan pangan. Hal ini akan menjadi masalah jika tanaman tersebut terserang penyakit.
Studi menunjukkan bahwa mengandalkan para ahli untuk mendeteksi penyakit pada tanaman membutuhkan dana yang besar. Masalah ini dapat diselesaikan dengan pengolahan citra digital yang memberikan hasil secara otomatis dan cukup akurat. Segmentasi merupakan langkah awal untuk mendeteksi penyakit menggunakan pengolahan citra digital.
Pada Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan penerapan pengolahan citra
digital untuk segmentasi penyakit pada citra daun tanaman
pangan menggunakan metode level set. Proses diawali dengan tahap preprocessing untuk menyiapkan citra agar dapat dilakukan segmentasi dengan optimal. Selanjutnya,
citra disegmentasi menggunakan metode level set. Level set membentuk kurva tertutup yang bergerak mengikuti kontur dari sebuah citra. Pengujian kinerja metode ini dilakukan pada citra daun berpenyakit hawar dengan tiga jenis daun berbeda yaitu daun kentang, daun jagung, dan daun padi dengan hasil akurasi masing-masing sebesar 92,72%, 95,57%, dan 96,94%.

Plants are very important for human life. Especially
plants that become staple foods. It will be a problem if the plant is attacked by disease. Studies show that relying on pure naked-eye obsevation of experts to detect such diseases can be prohibitively expensive. This problem can be solved using digital image processing which gives results automatically and accurately. Segmentation is the first step to detect disease using digital image processing. In this Final Project, it performed on the application of digital image processing to apply image disease segmentation of crop leaves. The proposed method is level set. The process begins with preprocessing stage which prepare the image so that optimal segmentation can be carried out. Furthermore, the image segmented using level set method. Levet set forms closed curves that moves to adhere the contour of an image. Performance test of this method is done on the image of blighted leaves with three different types of leaves, namely potata leaves, corn leaves, and rice leaves with the results of each accuracy equal to 92,72%, 95,57%, and 96,94%.
