Abstract

Total modal investasi sebesar Rp. 4.660.828.812.425,00. Biaya produksi per tahun sebesar Rp. 6.182.778.313.264,00. Hasil penjualan per tahun Rp. 8.360.772.000.000,00. Sehingga diperoleh Internal Rate of Return 26%, Payout time selama 4,85 tahun dan Break Event Point 35%.
=======================================================================================================================
In Indonesia, natural gas reserves in the last 10 years have shown an increasing trend. Based on data from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2015, Indonesia's natural gas reserves amounted to 170 TSCF and the annual production rate reached 2.87 TSCF. With this composition, Indonesia has a reserve to product (R / P) of 59 years. Broadly speaking, the use of natural gas can be used as fuel (PLTU, industry, motorized vehicles, etc.), raw materials (manufacturing fertilizers, methanol, plastics, etc.), energy commodities for export, namely Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). In Indonesia alone, the use of natural gas to be used as methanol is quite low, there are 2 companies that produce methanol but have not been able to meet methanol requirements in Indonesia so they still import.
Methanol can be produced using the methanol synthesis process using Lurgi technology. An outline of the process of methanol synthesis is the process of pre-treatment of natural gas, preparation of syn gas, synthesis of methanol and purification of methanol. The methanol plant is planned to start operating in 2022, with reference to meeting domestic needs. By analogy to meet 60% of the national methanol requirement (in tons) in 2021, so that its production capacity becomes 1,200,000 tons / year. The methanol plant operates 24 hours, 330 days / year. With a production capacity of 1,200,000 tons / year natural gas is needed as raw material for 1,142,802,761 tons / year. Total investment capital of Rp. 4,660,828,812,425.00. Annual production costs of Rp. 6,182,778,313,264.00. Annual sales of Rp. 8,360,772,000,000.00. So that the Internal Rate of Return is 26%, Payout time is 4.85 years and Break Event Point is 35%.
