Abstract
beberapa universitas terkemuka di Surabaya. Pada universitas-universitas tersebut terdapat mahasiswa-mahasiswa yang berasal dari luar Kota Surabaya. Oleh karenanya, mahasiswa tersebut membutuhkan tempat tinggal sementara selagi mereka menuntut ilmu di Kota Surabaya. Kos-kosan merupakan salah satu jenis hunian sementara yang dapat digunakan mahasiswa yang berasal dari luar Surabaya untuk menetap selagi menuntut ilmu. Lokasi tapak berada di lokasi perumahan untuk kalangan menengah ke atas. Oleh karena itu, rancagan kos-kosan dirancang menyesuaikan dengan bentuk bangunan sekitar. Selain itu, bangunan kos-kosan dirancang dengan mementingkan kenyamanan dari sehingga kos-kosan dapat terasa lapang. Kos-kosan juga dirancang untuk dapat memiliki aliran udara yang baik serta view taman sehingga juga memperhatikan kesehatan dari penghuninya Bank Mandiri merupakan salah satu bank di Indonesia yang memiliki cabang di berbagai daerah, salah satunya adalah kota Balikpapan. Pada setiap kota, Bank Mandiri memiliki kepala cabang di tiap daerahnya. Rumah Staff Bank Mandiri Balikpapan ini bertujuan sebagai tempat tinggal dari kepala cabang Bank Mandiri dan staf Bank Mandiri di Balikpapan. Lokasi bangunan terletak di daerah berkontur, sehingga bangunan dirancang dengan menggunakan sistema Split level untuk mengikuti kontur dari lahan, serta untuk memaksimalkan ruang sehungga ruangan terasa lapang.

Manyar Kerta Adi is an area located near several prominent universities in Surabaya. At these universities, there are students that come form outside of Surabaya. Therefore, these students need a temporary place to live while they are studying in Surabaya. Boarding Houses are one type of temporary housing that can be used by these students to settle down while studying. The site located in a residential location for upper middle class people. Therefore, the design of the boarding house need to adapt the surrounding buildings. In addition, the boarding house building is designed with the importance of comfort so that the boarding house can feel spacious. The boarding house are also designed to have a good airflow and a garden view so that they can affect the health of the user. Bank Mandiri is one of banks in Indonesia that has branches in various regions, one of which is the city of Balikpapan. In each city, Bank Mandiri has branch has branch heads in each of its regions. The Staff House of Bank Mandiri in Balikpapan is intended as a residence for the head of Bank Mandiri and Staffs in Balikpapan. The building is located in a contoured area, so the building is is designed using split level system to mimic the contours, and to maximize space so that the room feels spacious.
