Abstract

Di Jawa Timur sepanjang tahun 2018 penjualan listrik tercatat mengalami pertumbuhan sebesar 5,52 persen atau setara dengan 741.837 MegaWatthour (MWh) per tahun. Salah satu sumber penyedia energi listrik area Jawa Timur adalah PT. PJB (Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali), hal ini karena PT. PJB menyediakan kurang lebih 31 persen Daya Terpasang Regional Jawa-Bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model dinamika sistem permintaan dan perencanaan kapasitas PT. PJB sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan listrik sesuai kondisi eksisting. Pada Tugas Akhir ini, model yang dihasilkan telah sesuai dengan kondisi sistem nyata berdasarkan hasil validasi model yang sesuai dengan standar. Hasil simulasi skenario model menunjukkan angka permintaan energi listrik mencapai 4006,07 MW, dan listrik yang dapat diproduksi oleh PT. PJB mencapai 9320,38. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi tidak perlu dilakukan pembangunan pembangkit yang baru, karena angka pertumbuhan permintaan tidak sebanding dengan kenaikan angka produksi. Dengan pembangkit yang ada, listrik yang diproduksi sudah dapat memenuhi permintaan listrik di Jawa Timur.

In East Java, throughout 2018 Electricity Sales grew by 5.52 percent, equivalent to 741,837 MegaWhour (MWh). One source of the East Java area electricity provider is PT. PJB (Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali), this is because PT. PJB provides approximately 31 percent of Java-Bali Regional Power. This study aims to develop a model of demand system dynamics and capacity planning of PT. PJB so that it can meet electricity needs according to existing conditions. In this Final Project, the resulting model is in accordance with the real system conditions based on the results of the model validation in accordance with the standard. The model scenario simulation results show that the demand for electrical energy reaches 4006.07 MW, and electricity can be produced by PT. PJB reaches 9320.38. Based on the simulation results there is no need to build a new plant, because the demand growth rate is not proportional to the increase in production numbers. With existing plants, electricity produced can meet electricity demand in East Java.
