Abstract
Remazol Yellow FG berhasil diadsorpsi dengan adsorben karbon aktif menggunakan variasi waktu kontak, dosis adsorben, konsentrasi awal dan pH awal yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan adsorpsi metode batch dengan berbagai parameter optimasi yaitu waktu kontak ( 10 , 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 menit), massa adsorben (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 mg), variasi konsentrasi awal (20, 40, 60, 80, 100 ppm) dan variasi pH (2,4,6,7,8,10,12,14). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari kondisi optimum selama adsorpsi menggunakan adsorben karbon aktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adsorpsi pewarna sintetis Remazol Yellow FG menggunakan karbon aktif mencapai titik optimum pada waktu kontak 60 menit menghasilkan persen removal 83,73%, massa adsorben sebesar 10 mg menghasilkan persen removal 84,19%, konsentrasi awal larutan sebesar 60 ppm menghasilkan persen removal 84,60%, serta pada kondisi pH asam dan basa yaitu 2 dan 14 masing-masing menghasilkan persen removal 94,67% dan 94,05%. Diperoleh juga hasil kapasitas adsorpsi maksimum pewarna sintetis Remazol Yellow FG mencapai 206,73 mg/g. ===========================================================================
Remazol Yellow FG was successfully adsorped using activated carbon adsorbent with different contact times, adsorbent mass, initial concentrations and initial pH. This study is used batch method adsorption with various optimization parameters such as contact time (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 minutes), mass of adsorbent (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 mg) , initial concentration (20, 40, 60, 80, 100 ppm) and initial pH (2,4,6,7,8,10,12,14). This study aims is to find the optimum conditions during adsorption using activated carbon adsorbents. The results showed that synthetic dye of Remazol Yellow FG adsorption using activated carbon reached its optimum point at contact time 60 minutes with 83.73% percent removal, 10 mg mass adsorbent producing 84.19% percent removal, initial concentration of 60 ppm producing percent removal 84.60%, and good in the acid and base pH conditions (2 and 14) respectively produced percent removal 94.67% and 94.05%. Also obtained the maximum adsorption capacity of Remazol Yellow FG synthetic dyes is reaching 206.73 mg/g.
