Abstract
Sebuah mesin press hidrolik menghasilkan produk dengan defect yang tinggi dan memiliki downtime yang besar.. Penelitian tentang penyebab timbulnya cacat produk dan downtime pada mesin press hidrolis perlu dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah ini, Penelitian ini diawali dengan diagram pareto untuk mengetahui kerusakan yang paling tinggi downtimenya. Lalu, FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) digunakan mencari penyebabnya dan solusi untuk permasalahan dengan metode RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis). Selanjutnya, evaluasi seluruh proses untuk mendapatkan defect terbesar. Terakhir, metode DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve, control) digunakan untuk memperbaiki defect. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rekomendasi standar operasi pembersihan mesin PH dan lingkungan kerja bagian press, penambahan komponen batas oil level, cover, filter oli, dan sistem pendingin pada mesin PH, dan Pemanfaatan sumber daya. Serta pengendalian kontrol dengan batas atas proporsi sebesar 6%.

A press hydraulic machine produces high defect products and has large downtime. Research on the causes of product defects and downtime on hydraulic press machines is needed to overcome this problem, This research begins with the Pareto diagram to determine the damage that has the highest downtimes. Then, FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) is used to find the cause and the solution to the problem with the RCFA method (Root Cause Failure Analysis). Next, evaluate the entire process to get the biggest defect. Finally, the DMAIC method (define, measure, analyze, improve, control) is used to correct defects. The results of this study are recommendations for standard PH machine cleaning operations and the working environment of the press section, adding oil level limit components, covers, oil filters, and cooling systems to PH machines, and utilizing resources. And control of control with an upper limit of the proportion of 6%.
