Abstract

Pengaruh penambahan bakteri Ralstonia pickettii terhadap biodekolorisasi pewarna Metilen Biru (MB) oleh Daedalea dickinsii dalam media cair PDB telah diteliti. Bakteri R. pickettii yang ditambahkan ke dalam kultur D. dickinsii sebanyak 2,4,6,8,dan 10 mL (1 m = 1,39 x 10^8 CFU). Persen dekolorisasi MB tertinggi diperoleh pada penambahan 10 mL bakteri R. pickettii, yakni sebesar 88,79% setelah diinkubasi selama 7 hari. Jumlah persen dekolorisasi tersebut lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan persentase biodekolorisasi oleh D. dickinsii saja yang sebesar 16,51% dan R. pickettii saja yang sebesar 80,59%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penambahan bakteri R.pickettii dapat meningkatkan kemampuan biodekolorisasi MB oleh jamur D. dickinsii

The effect of Ralstonia pickettii addition on Methylene Blue (MB) biodecolorization by Daedalea dickinsii in PDB medium was investigated. The amount of R. pickettii that was added to the culture of D. dickinsii were 2, 6, 6, 8, 9, and 10 mL ( 1 mL = 1.39 x 10^8 CFU). The result showed that the highest percentage of MB biodecolorization was obtained on 10 mL of R. pickettii for about 88.79%, while biodecolorization process by D. dickincii and R. pickettii were 16.51% and 80.59% respectively. This research indicated that the addition of R. pickettii could enhance MB biodecolorization by fungus D. dickinsii
