Abstract
Masalah utama yang dialami dunia industri selama ini adalah bagaimana cara mengurangi atau mencegah kerugian energi akibat adanya gesekan. Gesekan yang terjadi dapat menimbulkan rusak atau hilangnya partikel dari suatu material yang dinamakan dengan keausan. Mekanisme keausan yang sering terjadi pada material adalah keausan abrasif dan keausan adesif. Cara mencegah keausan dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan pelumas. Akan tetapi keausan material dapat terjadi karena kesalahan memilih material yang tepat karena adanya kesalahan perhitungan rumus keausan Archard yang ada. Berdasarkan persamaan keausan archard, volume material yang terkikis linier dengan pembebanan dan panjang lintasan. Akan tetapi, pada kenyataannya, tidak terlalu linier. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil non linieritas material aus akibat keausan abrasif dan keausan adesif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan tribometer pin-on- disk dengan pin berupa material ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) dimana kecepatan putarnya sebesar 76,9 rpm dan dilakukan variasi beban dan panjang lintasannya. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa nilai volume aus akan semakin besar seiring dengan peningkatan beban dan panjang lintasan tempuhnya. Dengan menggunakan non dimensional parameter, didapatkan persamaan non linieritas keausan yaitu V=0,002493613.L^2 [W/AH]^1,079627005.

The main problem experienced by the industrial world so far is how to reduce or prevent energy losses due to friction. Friction that occurs can cause damage or loss of particles from a material called wear. The wear mechanism that often occurs in material is abrasive wear and adhesive wear. How to prevent wear can be done by giving lubricant. However, material wear can occur due to an error in choosing the right material because of an existing Archard wear calculation error. Based on the archard wear equation, the volume of material is eroded linearly by loading and the length of the track. But, in fact, it's not that linear. This research aims to obtain the results of non-linear wear materials due to abrasive wear and adhesive wear. The study was carried out by using a pin-on-disk tribometer with pins in the form of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) material where the rotation speed was 76.9 rpm and load variations and path lengths were carried out. Based on the research that has been done, it can be seen that the value of wear volume will be greater along with the increase in load and the length of the travel path. By using non dimensional parameters,it help get the non linearity equation, that is V= 0,002493613.L^2 .[W/AH]^1,079627005.
