Abstract
Stigma buruk masih menyelimuti isu kejiwaan di Indonesia sehingga masyarakat enggan untuk memeriksakan diri secara dini terkait kesehatan jiwa. ART+i merupakan pusat pelayanan terapi kesehatan jiwa yang menggunakan metode art therapy dan tidak menitikberatkan pada metode verbal seperti terapi konseling pada umumnya. Metode yang digunakan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi yang lebih mudah dan dapat dinikmati segala umur dan kalangan. Pembukaan cabang kedua ART+i di Surabaya dilatar belakangi oleh angka gangguan kesehatan jiwa yang cukup tinggi. Surabaya merupakan kota metropolitan yang pesat pembangunannya dan merupakan salah satu kota termaju di Indonesia. Kota besar memiliki risiko tinggi dalam mengalami gangguan suasana hati dan kecemasan. Art therapy memiliki peluang yang besar dalam menurunkan tingkat penderita penyakit jiwa di Indonesia, terlebih di kota metropolitan seperti Surabaya. Untuk mendesain pusat pelayanan terapi kesehatan jiwa diperlukan penelitian terlebih dahulu melalui pengumpulan data primer berupa observasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara agar mengetahui ketentuan dan standar kebutuhan yang dapat menunjang kesembuhan pasien kesehatan jiwa serta mengumpulkan data sekunder berupa studi literatur dan Evidence Based Design (EBD). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dalam mendesain fasilitas kesehatan jiwa dapat dilakukan dengan metode yang memengaruhi proses kesembuhan melalui penerapan EBD yang mencakup pencahayaan, penghawaan, psikologi warna, dan akses menuju ruang hijau serta manfaatnya terhadap perubahan suasana hati dan penurunan kadar stres. Konsep therapeutic interior diharapkan dapat menciptakan suasana yang tenang dan menyegarkan untuk keseimbangan mental bagi setiap penggunanya melalui konsep warna dan material, layouting yang sesuai, serta keluwesan dalam perancangan elemen desain interior.

Bad stigm still surrounds psychiatric issues in Indonesia, that people are reluctant to check themselves early related to mental health. ART+i is a center for mental health therapy services that draws closer to art therapy methods and does not focus on verbal methods such as counseling therapy in general. The method used can be one of the more natural solutions that can be enjoyed by all ages and groups. The second branch opening in Surabaya is considering the high number of mental health. Surabaya is a metropolis that has fast-moving infrastructure and one of the most advanced cities in Indonesia. Big cities have high risks in having mood swings and anxiety. Art therapy method is a great opportunity for reducing the high number of mental illness in Indonesia exceedingly, a metropolis such as Surabaya. To design a center for mental health therapy services based on art therapy, this research is needed to be done by collecting primary data such as observation, questionnaire, and interview in advance to find out the conditions and standards that could support the recovery of mental health patient along with gathering secondary data in the form of literature studies and Evidence Based Design (EBD). The result of this research showed that designing mental health facility can be done with methods that influences the healing process through the application of EBD which embodies in lighting, ventilation, color psychology, and access to nature along with the benefits of stabilizing mood swings and lowering stress level. Therapeutic interior concept is expected to create calming atmosphere and refreshing for every user’s mental balance through the color and material concept, creating suitable layout, and flexibility in designing interior design element.
