Abstract

Oli sangat sering digunakan pada industri besar, tetapi kondisi lingkungan yang bisa mengalami perubahan suhu membuat keadaan sekitar menjadi lembap dan menimbulkan embun air yang akan tercampur dengan oli, sehingga membuat proses mesin terganggu dan oli juga akan ikut rusak secara kimiawi. Mesin VTM-80 memfilter oli dari partikel logam, air, dan debu. Sistem yang dibahas adalah filter partikel kadar air dengan metode vakum dan penguapan. Alat tersebut berjalan secara otomatis sesuai set point kadar air yang dimasukkan (kadar air dalam oli standar industri di bawah 40%). Kontroler yang digunakan adalah dua Arduino, satu untuk kontrol kadar air dan satu untuk kontrol temperatur. Sensor SHT20 akan mengukur kadar air berlebih. Aktuator pemanas menggunakan heater yang disensor dengan DS18B20. Temperatur untuk heater juga dimasukkan sebagai set point, sedangkan komponen lainnya akan berjalan berdasarkan nilai kadar air, dengan switch dan LED sebagai indikator komponen VTM-80. Hasil pengujian kadar air menunjukkan bahwa alat ini memiliki pengukuran yang baik di bawah 80%. Saat kalibrasi, terdapat perbedaan nilai konstan sebesar 15%, sehingga range pembacaan kadar air 0%–100% berkurang menjadi 0–85%. Modul ADS1115 sebagai simulator dapat mewakilkan pembacaan kadar air 0–90% dengan tegangan 0–4,5 V. Pengujian sensor DS18B20 dapat digunakan dengan baik, dengan rata-rata error sebesar 5%. Pengujian switch dan LED sebagai indikator berjalan sesuai dengan sistem yang dirancang, sehingga siap diterapkan pada plan sebenarnya.

Oil is very commonly used in large industries, but environmental conditions subject to temperature changes cause the surrounding air to become humid, producing water condensation that mixes with the oil. This disrupts the machine's operation and also causes chemical degradation of the oil. The VTM-80 machine filters oil from metal particles, water, and dust. The system discussed is a moisture content particle filter using vacuum and evaporation methods. The device operates automatically according to the moisture content set point entered (industry-standard oil moisture content is below 40%). Two Arduino controllers are used, one for moisture content control and one for temperature control. The SHT20 sensor measures excess moisture content. The heater actuator uses a heating element monitored by a DS18B20 sensor. The heater temperature is also entered as a set point, while other components operate based on the moisture content value, with switches and LEDs serving as indicators for the VTM-80 components. The moisture content test results show that this device provides good measurements below 80%. During calibration, a constant value difference of 15% was found, causing the moisture content reading range of 0%–100% to be reduced to 0%–85%. The ADS1115 module, used as a simulator, can represent moisture content readings of 0–90% with a voltage of 0–4.5 V. Testing of the DS18B20 sensor showed reliable performance, with an average error of 5%. Testing of the switches and LEDs as indicators ran according to the designed system, indicating readiness for implementation in the actual plant.
