Abstract

Kota Bogor memiliki curah hujan yang tinggi yaitu dengan rata – rata 3.500 – 4.000 mm/tahun, dengan kandungan air hujan yang memenuhi baku mutu air bersih. Air hujan Kota Bogor dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif air bersih, dan jika air hujan diolah lebih lanjut dapat dijadikan alternatif air siap minum. Air bersih yang digunakan pada sebagian besar warga Kota Bogor berasal dari ledeng PDAM. Dengan adanya pemanfaatan air hujan sebagai alternatif air bersih dan air siap minum dapat mengurangi biaya konsumsi air yang dibayarkan ke PDAM. Pada perencanaan kali ini, menggunakan Rusunawa Menteng Asri sebagai lokasi penerapan sistem Pemanfaatan Air Hujan. Dengan penghuni Rusunawa Menteng Asri yang rata – rata berpenghasilan menengah kebawah, perencanaan ini diharapkan dapat menghemat biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk konsumsi air bersih.
Pemanfaatan air hujan sebagai alternatif air bersih dan air siap minum dilaksanakan melalui sistem Pemanenan Air Hujan (Rain Water Harvesting). Air hujan yang dipanen pada sistem ini akan dijadikan alternatif kebutuhan air besih dan juga, dapat diolah secara sederhana menjadi air siap minum. Pemanenan air hujan (rain water harvesting) merupakan salah satu teknologi sederhana yang mudah diaplikasikan pada negara berkembang, karena dianggap murah dan mudah dalam pembangunannya. Penerapan sistem pemanenan air hujan dapat menghemat supply air bersih pada rumah bertingkat hingga 34%. Selain itu, keuntungan dari sistem pemanenan air hujan adalah dapat mengurangi kebergantungan pada sistem penyediaan air bersih.

Pengolahan lanjutan untuk air hujan agar siap diminum, disesuaikan dengan kandungan air hujan tersebut. Pada perencanaan ini menggunakan filter karbon aktif dan desinfeksi untuk unit pengolahan. Karena kandungan air hujan terkontaminasi E.Coli dan Total Coliform.
Rancangan anggaran biaya perencanaan sistem pemanenan air hujan sebai alternatif air siap minum di Rusunawa Menteng Asri, Bogor adalah Rp. 1.453.916.400,00.

Bogor city has relatively high average precipitation
number, approximately around 3.500 - 4.000 millimeter annually
with the quality that meets the clean water quality threshold. The
rainwater in Bogor can be one of the alternatives to fulfill the
clean water demand, moreover, with further treatment, it can be
used as another option for the supply of drinking water. In the
current situation, the clean water used by most of the resident in
Bogor comes from Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM)
distribution system. Therefore, the utilization of rainwater as an
alternative for the clean and drinking water supply can decrease
the water consumption costs paid to the PDAM.
The design of this planning, use the Menteng Asri Flats
as the location for implementing the Rainwater Utilization system.
With the residents of Menteng Asri Flat, which are on average
middle to lower income earners, this plan is expected to save on
costs incurred for the consumption of clean water. Utilization of
rainwater as an alternative to clean water and drinking water is
executed through the Rain Water Harvesting system. The
rainwater harvested in this system will be used as an alternative
for the need for clean water. It also can be processed with further
treatment hence it can be used as drinking water. Rainwater
harvesting is a non-complex technology that is easily applied to
developing countries due to its considerably cheap price and
relatively easy to build. The application of rainwater harvesting
systems can save clean water supply in terraced houses up to
34%. In addition, the advantage of rainwater harvesting systems
is that it can reduce dependence on clean water supply systems.
Advanced process for, so it can be ready to drink,
depends on the content of the rainwater itself. In this design, the
selected technologies for processing unit are activated carbon
filters and disinfection. The selection of these technologies is due
to the contamination of E.coli and Total Coliform to the rainwater
