Abstract
Order Picking adalah salah satu aktivitas di gudang yang diidentifikasi sebagai penyumbang biaya operasional tertinggi untuk hampir setiap jenis gudang. Biaya Order Picking diperkirakan mencapai 55% dari keseluruhan biaya operasi gudang. Rumusan masalah yang dibahas pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana membuat perancangan model storage assignment untuk memperoleh peningkatan efisiensi order picking yang optimal dengan menggunakan sistem dedicated storage. Data terlebih dahulu dikumpulkan dari perusahaan untuk membantu membangun model ini, diantaranya adalah Spesifikasi Gudang, Varian Produk Tisu, Data Konversi Palet, Pengelompokan Produk, Saldo Produk Tisu, Throughput Produk Tisu, Waktu Picking dan Kebijakan Gudang. Data produk tisu yang terdaftar dalam satuan karton terlebih dahulu dikonversi dalam satuan palet dengan menyesuaikan karakteristik masing-masing produk. Produk yang terdiri dari 317 varian dalam 27 jenis yang berbeda kemudian dikelompokan berdasarkan mereknya dan didapatkan jumlah sebanyak 61 merek. Semua merek produk ini kemudian dihitung masing-masing atributnya yang meliputi throughput, alokasi, demand dan sebagainya. Setelah memahami karakteristik produk beserta atributnya, langkah selanjutnya adalah memahami karakteristik gudang, dan mendefinisikan atributnya. Beberapa atribut gudang yang perlu diidentifikasi sebagai input dari model yang dikembangkan adalah kapasitas gudang, blocking lokasi penyimpanan, identifikasi kapasitas setiap lokasi penyimpanan dan jaraknya dari area loading dock, layout eksisting dan sebagainya. Setelah data-data tersebut diperoleh, dilakukan identifikasi penambahan kapasitas gudang serta pengembangan model optimasi storage assignment. Model yang dimaksud dikembangkan dengan metode linear programming, dengan memperhatikan throughput produk, waktu pengambilan barang, serta alokasi per merek. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditentukan bahwa penambahan kapasitas yang ideal untuk gudang finished goods PT Q adalah sebanyak 52% dari kapasitas eksisting, yakni sebanyak 686 pallet position. Adapun usulan storage assignment yang diberikan berdasarkan hasil running model optimasi dengan metode linear programming menggunakan software excel solver telah diselesaikan dan diprediksi mampu meningkatkan efisiensi order picking gudang sebesar 65 hingga 130%.

Order Picking is one of the activities at warehouse with the highest operational costs, for almost every type of warehouse. Order Picking costs are estimated at 55% of total warehouse operating costs. The problem that try to solve in this study is how to design a storage assignment model to get optimal efficiency of order picking time by using a dedicated storage system. Data needed in this study including Warehouse Specifications, Tissue Product Variants, Palette Conversion Data, Product Grouping, Tissue Product Balance, Tissue Product Throughput, Picking Time and Warehouse Policy. Master products that registered in cardboard are first converted into pallet by adjusting the characteristics of each product. All products consisting of 317 variants in 27 different types are then grouped according to their brands and obtained a total of 61 brands. For each brands, then calculated for some attribute which includes throughput, allocation, demand and so on. After described the characteristics of the product and its attributes, the next step is to described the characteristics of the warehouse, and define its attributes. Some warehouse attributes that need to be identified as input from the developed model are warehouse capacity, storage location blocking, capacity identification of each storage location and the distance from loading dock area, existing layout and so on. After the data is obtained, identification of the addition of warehouse capacity and the development of the storage assignment optimization model are identified. The intended model was developed with linear programming methods, taking into account product throughput, time to take items, and allocation per brand. Based on the results of analysis, it was determined that the ideal addition of capacity for PT Q finished goods warehouses is 52% of the existing capacity, that is 686 palette positions. The proposed storage assignment is given based on the results of running an optimization model with the linear programming method using excel solver software that has been completed and is predicted to increase the efficiency of warehouse order picking time for 65 until 130%.
