Abstract
Negara Indonesia sebagian besar berupa lautan, sehingga Indonesia memerlukan pelabuhan sebagai saran penunjang pertumbuhan ekonomi. Pelabuhan Tanjung Perak Surabaya merupakan pelabuhan dengan wilayah yang strategis dengan dikukung daerah hinterland Jawa Timur. Seiring meningkatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi maka PT Pelindo III melakukan penataan ruang bongkar muat dan klasterisasi pada beberapa dermaga. Salah satu dermaga yang mengalami klasterisasi adalah dermaga Nilam Timur dimana dulu dermaga Nilam Timur adalah dermaga yang menangani muatan general cargo menjadi dermaga multipurpose. Selain itu PT Pelindo akan mengembangkan dermaga Nilam Timur khususnya untuk dermaga konvensional akan diubah menjadi dermaga multipurpose. Sehingga dermaga Nilam Multipurpose semakin panjang. Dermaga Nilam Timur akan mengalami pengembangan seperti yang direncanakan PT Pelindo III, yaitu peningkatan bobot kapal yang ditambat. Sesuai dengan stabilitas struktur kapal yang dapat ditambat agar struktur kaison tetap aman adalah kapal container 10.000 DWT. Namun, perlu dilakukan perkuatan terhadap struktur kaison dikarenakan terjadi pengerukan. Perkuatan yang direncanakan ada 2 alternatif, alternatif pertama adalah penambahan elemen pengaku berupa dinding setinggi 2m diantara dinding-dinding kaison dengan tujuan untuk memperkecil momen yang terjadi akibat gempa. Dinding tersebut setebal 30cm dengan penebalan pada ujung dinding sebesar 35cm. Pada saat pelaksanaan perkuatan penambahan elemen dinding perlu diperkuat juga tanah disekitar dengan cara diberi sheet pile sedalam 5m dan dimensi sheet pile yang digunakan WRU 15-275. Sedangkan untuk perkuatan alternatif kedua adalah membangun dermaga baru pada sisi depa dermaga eksisting dengan sistem dilatasi. Struktur dermaga baru adalah deck on pile dengan lebar dermaga sebesar 12m. Selain itu, dilakukan pergantian fender dari SV 500 – 1.500 menjadi UE-V 600 -1.500.

The Tanjung Perak Port of Surabaya is a port with a strategic area supported by the East Java hinterland. As economic growth increases, PT Pelindo III conducts spatial planning and clustering on several piers. One of the docks that experienced clustering was the East Patchouli pier where the East Nilam pier was the first that handled general cargo cargo to become a multipurpose pier. In addition, PT Pelindo will develop the East Nilam pier, especially for conventional docks, to be converted into a multipurpose pier. So that the Multipurpose Patchouli dock is getting longer. The East Patchouli Pier will undergo development as planned by PT Pelindo III, namely an increase in the weight of the ship being moored. In accordance with the stability of the vessel structure that can be anchored so that the kaison structure remains safe is a 10,000 DWT container ship. However, it is necessary to strengthen the kaison structure due to dredging. The planned reinforcement has 2 alternatives, the first alternative is the addition of stiffening elements in the form of a 2m high wall between the walls of caisson with the aim of minimizing the moment that occurs due to the earthquake. The wall is 30cm thick with 35cm thickening at the end of the wall. At the time of reinforcement the addition of wall elements also needs to strengthen the surrounding soil by giving a sheet pile as deep as 5m and the dimensions of sheet pile used by WRU 15-275. While for the second alternative reinforcement is to build a new dock on the front side of the existing dock with a dilatation system. The new pier structure is deck on pile with a dock width of 12m. In addition, fender turnover is carried out from SV 500 – 1.500 to UE-V 600 -1.500.
