Abstract
Ruang terbuka hijau penting untuk menciptakan suasana nyaman di perkotaan, terutama di Kota Madiun yang terus berkembang. RTH yang ada belum mencapai 30% sesuai ketentuan, terutama RTH publiknya yang hanya 8,82% dari luas kota sehingga perlu adanya penambahan RTH publik. Dalam penyediaaan RTH perkotaan terdapat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi yaitu perkembangan lahan. Penggunaan lahan di Kota Madiun selalu bertambah/berkembang tiap tahunnya sedangkan RTH publik yang ada di Kota Madiun justru mengalami penurunan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keterkaitan antara faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ketersediaan RTH di Kota Madiun. Peneitian ini terbagi ke dalam dua tahap, yaitu : (1) Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ketersediaan RTH di Kota Madiun, (2) Merumuskan keterkaitan amtara faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ketersediaan RTH di Kota Madiun. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa faktor-faktor seperti industri, fasilitas umum, perkantoran, dan tanah milik pemerintah memiliki keterkaitan dengan ketersediaan RTH di Kota Madiun.

Green open space is important to create a comfortable atmosphere in cities, especially in the Madiun city which is always to grow. The existing of green open space has not reached 30% according to the policy, especially the public green open space which is only 8.82% of the city area, so it need for additional of public green open space. On the provision of urban green open space there are factors that influence it. One of the factors that influence is land development. Land use in Madiun City is always increases / develops every year while public green space in Madiun City actually decreases. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the factors that influence green open space and the availability of green open space in the Madiun city. This research is divided into two stages : (1) Identifying factors that affect the availability of green open space in Madiun City, (2) Formulating the relationship between factors and the availability of green open space in Madiun City. The results of this study is show that factors such as industry, public facilities, offices, and government-owned land are related to the availability of green open space in the Madiun City.
